I didn't know renault offered a genuine exhaust in stainless to fit both the 172 and 182??

Sometimes you get lucky on the interferance, ive had cars where it doesnt notice, and others that whine like a b**ch with the revs,
its best to play it safe during fitting rather than need to rip it out once it starts doing your head in!
if you take the headunit out theres plenty of room behind there to be able to feed the RCA and remote down, i tend to go across the driver side, then down along the doors to the boot there for the RCA and take the power and remote along the passenger side.
yea, not a problem.
Doing mine the biggest headache was getting to the grommet to pass the power cable through, i had to remove both the coolant bottle and the pas bottle to be able to move the carpet enough.
apart from that, took about 45 mins in the dark.
starting at the battery end:
you'll probably want a ring connector on your power cable, to attach to the + terminal on the battery (once the rest is done), give yourself about 7 inches of cable, then fit an inline AGU fuse holder, (they look like giant household plug fuses). Find an access...
11mm is a little overkill, an m8 bolt has an 8mm thread, m10, 10mm etc in engineering terms, 1mm extra, ie 11mm hole on 10mm thread is huuuge, just imagine using an 11mm socket on a 10mm nut.
id say theyve got their figures about right
From memory (i haven't adjusted mine in over 3 years) it sorts the wattage / ohmage out automagically, you just connect the subs up and go.
I'm running 2x Alpine Type R 1222's at 119dB from one of those amps...
I have freeview on my tv, and a freesat card in my pc, its nothing special but it works well and has a remote so no need to arse about with keyboard / mouse...
I use the seatbelt mounting bolts, wont get a better earth than that in the boot.

My boss is selling his Clio Cup Race car.
This advert goes live in Autosport as of tomorrow, but as:
a: This is a Clio Forum
b: There are Cup Racers here
c: There are track enthusiasts here:
You can all have a sneak peak!
Lame excuse is worth it's weight in gold when previous AA man rips your / his tow hook out on a previous attempt, fubar'ing the threads and leaving you unable to screw a normal tow hook / eye / strap in as and when required
Perma-fit is now the only for me!
Ive got a tow eye for exactly that reason, ive covered more miles in a recovery truck than in my clio!
also i HAD to change it as one recovery guy winched the car so far up the flatbed he put a 45' bend in the renault eye and ripped the threads out!
mine is now held in with 2 lockbolts and a...
