I'd be pretty confident that it's likely to be an injector. Mine went into full-blown Scooby Mode when it went and the EML was flashing.
Got a new injector ordered through Euro Car Parts and the problem was sorted. Ordered a replacement set for the other three cylinders, not long after.
The G29 will be for the PlayStation/PC mate - it will be the G920 you'll be after for the XBox/PC. They are identical apart from the button presets.
The G29 on the left - which is the only one of the two that comes with a set of rev lights and the G920 for the XBox to the right.
The thing is with DLC - I like the concept. You get to play the core game and enjoy it, but if you want to expand on it - buy the optional DLC.
The beauty of this is that invariably you end up with all the DLC being bundled into a Game Of The Year Edition or similar at some point. So with the...
When you take the side off next time, just check on the CPU cooler itself - that big fat Intel thing with the fan on it the picture. Just give it a quick blow (ideally outside) to get rid of any residual dust build up - or with an air compressor ideally. The stock Intel coolers are paired with...
I'd go the playseat route - based purely on two assumptions. One, you have the space to use it/store it. And two, that you're going to actually play racing games a fair bit.
The biggest single issue that you have with a stand is with any form of decent braking setup - be that with dampened...
Looks like ACC's roadmap of releases is a good one - certainly for this year and the next. I didn't realise that the Intercontinental Pack that's out now had only been released for the PC.
Apparently the British GT Pack is going to include the circuits of Oulton Park, Donington and Snetterton.
1080Ti's are still a powerhouse of a card. Might be worth looking into the specs of the game itself - some are really quite CPU dependant - the likes of ACC is one for definite that benefits from a beefy CPU.
If you go baller-spec - the 2080Ti would easily cope with VR. That said, I've read...
Nice - he seemed to run it actually as a business and it seemed a lot more 'professional' with him at the helm. I recall seeing that trip he did over to Japan some years back and reading about it.
The magazine was great in the day - used to look forward to that being delivered.
It seems like a night & day difference to how it was run years back. DIdn't the founder bloke pack it in/hand it over? Didn't he have an earlier Evo 1 as well?
Got to admit - I love the attention to detail in it. Did a 5-stage historic rally in the Fiat 121 and binned it not long after starting stage 1.
Buggered up the nearside front which made turning right tricky, though with each stage, the engine (and gearbox) was getting worse. I spent all my...
I have done on PC - but as said earlier, I'm not sure how 'friendly' consoles are like for mix & matching. I've got a screenshot that shows how well Assetto Corsa copes with several input devices all being 'on' at the same time.
If you can stretch to this, I'd recommend it highly. It's actually the newer model of mine that has a 7-gear + Reverse H-pattern, with the optional ability to switch it to sequential if needed. My version is strictly H-pattern only, though I don't mind using the paddle-shift on my G920 for games...
I suspect so. It will have a driver to download once connected via USB. Again, not really sure about the console side of things.
I mentioned the G29 earlier - that's PS4 & PC specific. But you mentioned XBox, so you'd be looking for the G920 instead as that's XBox and PC specific.
Maybe it feels right in the hands of a pro-driver - but to mere mortal gamers, it's not good at all. Not without tweaking the settings a LOT.
At first, I thought it might have been me - but two others have tried DIRT Rally 2.0 with the wheel and literally cannot for the life of them drive in a...
You've picked a difficult game there. DIRT Rally 2.0 for me is absolute dog-turd with a wheel - when using standard settings. If the force feedback was made for American Truck Simulator, it would be far more realistic. It's that far off the mark, that I really don't know what the devs or testing...
182's are like the best bacon butty you've ever had in your life.
Cheap, accessible - not full of pomp and pretentiousness - but when you're in the mood for one, they just hit the spot. If you're lucky enough to explore what it can do, like on a trip to the Scottish Highlands - it really does...
If you're not striving for current level level tech and want it purely for work, you could do a lot worse than a 1650. I've got a standard 1050 installed in my works PC. Does me fine supporting three monitors, though specifically going for 3x HDMI ports is a limiting factor these days.
Do you...
