    Spoke clearance. Circumference is limited to 15" and 280mm discs and 16" and 300mm discs unless you make your own brackets.

    Depends on the wheel. A Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 needs ET30 on a 15" to clear 280mm discs and IIRC it needs ET40 or 35 on a 16" wheel to clear 300mm discs. A Pro Race 3 needs less offset as they have more brake clearance. What wheels do you have? scooby-93

    Alternators generally work at their best around 2-3k rpm. So if you double the pulley size then your making its optimum around 4-6k rpm :) I think mine is going slowly so I'll be changing mine with a bigger pulley too.

    R1R overheat, they're a good wet tyre though. RSR need lots of camber or very stiff suspension which compromises the car, they work well on balanced cars like BMW 3 series, MX5 etc. AD08R would be my choice. Grips well and takes a bit more abuse.

    280mm discs and I've got spacers. They need a wheel about ET30. Although I was looking at Jack's aucky Pro Race 3 wheels and they seem to have a lot more calliper clearance so I reckon you could get away with ET40-45 with them.

    Ok! So the RS day at Oulton went well. The car performed better than expected and the new shifter was spot on. The 1st session I took quite easy and got a feel for the car, after that I started to push on with my confidence building. The new AST suspension and roll centre kit felt brilliant...

    My rear brakes are stronger than they were due to the inline restrictor setup but it feels good. The braking system as a whole feels better without ABS.     Very nice Ollie! Im considering a supercharger but my only concern with the Rotrex is the lifespan of the charger. I'll be fitting my Brembos in the next couple of weeks so I'll let you know how they compare. I'll also be making some alloy bells and rotors.
