Re: The new EP3
Cheers all.
Just wanted something fun for summer (i'll keep for a few years though), nimble and quick but not a clio.
Everything else is lardy IMO. Literally looked at every different type of car.
The tints are an option from factory so it doesn't have to be a prem, but unfortunately they are dipped, something I specifically made sure I didn't get !!
You can swap them for non tinted glass, but bit of a mission.
Oh nice colour BTW :)
Re: The new EP3
Definitely nothing wrong with NHB, I love black cars too, but they're a mission to keep in good condition for an 8 year old car. Always nice to get your first choice in colour.
There's a few car park dinks and the alloys are due a refurb, but nothing that can't be sorted.
Re: The new EP3
Thanks all.
Cheers, yeah going to get some clean plates, might even get a 10% tint on the plates. Also some Eibach pro-lines, camber bolts and FRSU. Gruppe M is long distant plan. Won't bother with Kpro/100 nor an exhaust.
Yeap, definitely the best colour :) I thought I was...
This from camskill is uber cheap.
I really like them, ran them on my old Clio from new and got them on the Golf too. Once they have heat in them the grip is great.
People who are slating them are the people that drive too fast in wet conditions. No they aren't the best in wet and cold...
Well, I sold my clio last November with the hope to find a cosmic CTR. After about 3-4 months of shitters and no car it was hopeless, so I got a MK4 Golf GTI from a mate as a stop-gap. I then opened up my search to Pre-facelift CTR's and came across more bad examples, anyway came across this one...
Read this and prepared to be amazed, epic read: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?619576-James-BigAsh-182-Race-Car-by-TDF-It-doesn-t-get-much-better-than-this!-*Pic-Heavy
98% then, not many people get a front end respray because theres stone chips. It's not a ferrari.
Yeap me too. Looked at the PH one then the AT after. However my post directly applies to the AT link, apart from the front bumper respray.
Oh for f**k sake.
Look, you said you've been driving 2.5 years. I averaged that to be 300 miles a day, which is a lot. And I said it wouldn't be anywhere close.
Now you declared you've been driving 3.5 years, thus dropping the average to 200 miles a day, which is do-able. Now this would...
Cool.
Just need a few facts. Have you been driving 2.5 years ? or since Dec 2008, there seem to be a few discrepancies by about 12 months.
EDIT: Jeesus christ, I completely forgot about the mileage you've covered on your aunties farm since you were 13. Ok, must be at least 250k + then. My bad.
I won't be a cnut and tell you to search, but there are a lot of threads asking this..
Make sure cambelt and aux belt has been done by a well known specialist or Renault. If not I wouldn't buy it, IMO.
Dephaser being fooked, sounds like a taxi.
Steering wheel melted (not really a problem).

Well it's missing a splitter so thats £100 +.
Front bumper has been resprayed/replaced at some point so it's been in a bump.
Doesn't say anything about belts so a potential £700 there.
FSH ? Oh nope, it doesn't say anything about SH. Most probably part service history.
TAX ? Probably not as...
