The the only thing that bugged me about the Nilfish was how easy it fell over even with the standard hose.
Isn't it even worse with a heavy duty rubber one?
I sold mine and bought a s/hand Kranzel.
Hey mate, no I haven't.
I went on the Saturday morning, I had Dave look at my car.
I did mention to him about yours and i was told that they where starting it on the Monday morning. [emoji2]
I've had to chase them up with the quote for mine, after a week I hadn't heard a thing. Phoned and...
Sorry I should have made myself a little clearer.
Sometimes a bolt can fail but the thread's are fine, other times bolts can fail and damage the thread's is what I meant mate. [emoji2]
I think if I was you bud I would get the engine and box out.
Remove the box and see what damage has been caused.
If the flywheel is still attached to the engine then I would remove the cam caps, wack the pin in the crank and see how far out the timing is (you've already said that you've done...
Well if the engine is turning over fast on the starter like there isn't any compression then I would say that it's smashed the valves.
Hard to say without seeing it.
I've seen this happen before, the flywheel and clutch came out through the front of the gearbox and took the radiator out.
But also with the engine revving so high it also made the cam belt bottom gear slip which took the valves out.
You might be lucky.
Buy the one off of Dan and get northloop to rebuild it.
That way you know you have a mint box ready for your future mods.
Buying a s/hand box with unknown history is going to be a mine field.
Thanks for the kind offer mate. [emoji2]
I'll buy some of that stuff you said about and give it a go. [emoji106] [emoji2]
I have my old bosses Porsche Panamera hybrid to do next weekend, just didn't want to go covering everything in Dressle after cleaning the leather etc...
Thanks Dan.
I just find that unless I spray it on it doesn't give a very good finish when using a cloth.
If I do spray it on to a door panel it goes places I don't want it, like on the door rubbers but you get the over spray from it which looks crap.
However, if you do spray it on and leave...
2nd hand 182 manifolds are about £130 but its fitting them that's the pain in the ass, the sub frame has to be removed or the engine.
Best bet would be to get the flange replaced.
Fitted a new pair of front fog lights to the wife's Volvo, the n/s one got smashed by a stone and I couldn't just fit one new one and have one old. It would have bugged me.
Fitted a pair of new number plates as well.
Gave the Spec C a quick hoover, gave the interior wipe over and checked to...
The Helper spring is just that, all it does is to hold the main spring in position when the car is jacked up.
It dose/has fcuk all to do with the ride or handling.
You can compress a Helper spring with your hand.
