Ace car dude, apart from the engine bay, it's the carbon copy of mine lol!
Good taste ;)
Where did you get those top mounts from bud? I really need some for mine.
Fixed it guys, it was the rubbery bit right at the bottom so it was about 7"s down the thin tube so had to use a wired coat hanger (the future) to get it out....Replaced all spark plugs & HT leads now....drives much better and MPG has shot up!
Cheers guys
Liam
Right...update....Bought the "Specialist" tool from Renault that was needed (robbing fcukers) and set to work on the plugs, did the first 2..no problem, came to the the third and the plastic bit that sits inside the HT lead & over the spark plug has come off and is now stuck to the spark plug...
This might sound a bit stupid to some, but I've taken the HT leads out, looked down and the Spark Plug is sitting about 6 - 8 inches down the pipe, I have a 10mm spark plug socket to remove & fit the new plugs, but it's too wide to get down the pipe, what the f**k do I do? :rasp:
17 Daz, I'm the lad who came to you for the suspension btw lol (just incase you'd forgot).
Ahhh right cheers I'll take a look now....Tbh the only mods on the car are the wheels + suspension, I'd be MORE than happy to put standard wheels back on and put it higher if it meant much cheaper...
Basically when I started my insurance, I used comparison sites....My Dad has been with DirectLine for 19 years and they said 4k FC...Just tried DirectLine & Churchill and neither were able to return a quote.
Basically I've got a 1.2 Clio (51 reg) and I'm on my first year of driving (started in April 2009). I was paying £1000 3rd party before I passed my test (provisional) with Quinn Direct, I passed in June and my insurance jumped to £3000 after I called them to let them now...Does this seem right...
I faced this problem a while back, basically I took off the plastic shield from the boot to see all of the mechanism etc. Theres a metal rod that is used to lock and unlock the boot (it slides from side to side), there's one screw used to fix the piece it goes through to the car, if this is too...
Had to buy a new key fob, Renault wanted £180 lol.
Got it for £100 from a local, and he came out to me.
Gutted though, just on the run up to christmas aswel
Yesterday my keys fell out of my pocket and unfortunately my fob broke, I was able to open my car and drive it using the key manually...Came to the car last night, opened the car with the key, went to start it..nothing, no noise whatsoever, the flashing LED (I presume the immobiliser) on my dash...
