Mine is still on pre order, but I have no idea why. I think it's most likely fond memories, and a feeling I want to relive. I put days worth of play in to 4.
Found a quote:
"Engine sound has been improved from Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, but surprisingly, the game does not run at 60 frames per second at all times. In certain conditions, Yamauchi admitted, when heavy technical effects pile up on one another the frame rate will drop a bit. For example...
So do I. The version they had on show at EG Expo was in a real mess. The 'ring' kept disappearing completely! All the remained were cars and backdrop.
I kept hearing lots of talk about it no longer running at 60fps too, but I've yet to see anything to support this.
I had a play of it the other day at the Eurogamer expo. I've still got my pre order in, but I'm not that excited about getting it anymore. Driving a supercar in GT5 has a similar feeling to being on a cross channel ferry the way it pitches and rolls.
It was interesting watching people play...
We were amazed the save game bug got through 4 QA departments! They're all usually s**t hot when it comes to TRC/TCR fails.
It's fixed in the patch.
Until then:
Why has my save game become corrupted?
After a practice session where you complete an R&D objective and unlock a new upgrade make...
Not yet. It's now with QA, then has to go through a submission process.
Meanwhile here's me in Spanish!

That was being worked on, but I can't say for sure if it's made the patch.
Clart, that issue with the pit stops has been fixed in the patch. It was one of the first things the guys fixed. Thank f**k.
I raced in an online league as a guest last night. I talked them down from 100% to 50% on...
No ETA yet Dan, but the changes are being locked out at the end of today, then it's off to test.
The rules in TT are very strict because people take TT seriously, and hate people exploiting. The last sector penalty system is overly harsh, but will be addressed in the next game. It was a last...
The problem with that comes from the fact that we have to give the player control of the car before they hit the timing line. Timing lines are placed in the correct location, so sometimes the AI hasn't straightened the car up fully when the player gets control. We did all we could to cut down on...
Cars spinning at the same place is purely coincidence. There are no setup events, the AI struggle on some corners.
Race timings are real as how could you fake the times when you can see where the cars are on track? Race lap times are not faked, they may look different to the player as the AI...
No car updates. That would require DLC and we don't have plans for any. By the time the wing was made and cleared by FOM and the teams it would be next year.
Gareth, medium TC is worth running on the pad.
About the driver AI. Some also have tracks they are stronger on, as well as good and...
Most of the problems, and things people have commented on but don't like are things we are aware of, and want to address in the patch.
Obviously time, budget and the license restrictions have knock on effects. Plus this was our first F1 game, and you can't get everything right the first time...
No idea what's happened with Steam. I've got a couple of PC retail boxes and 2 Steam Keys to try at some point! I've been running it on Xbox most the day.
Overall it's being very well received. There are issues, some of which we knew about, a few we didn't.
The AI all have individual...
I bought a wheel stand pro when Forza 3 came out. I ordered with the MS and Logitech attachments and can't fault it. I used to rarely race with the wheel at home, now I rarely race without!
Glad to hear a few more if you are enjoying it.
No date for the patch, but it's most likely one to two months away.
I can't remember how the TT boards work, I didn't work on that feature.
Just been out with our Spanish PR girl ready for tomorrows presentation.
Cheers Mike.
We all disliked the new layout, and it's not great for us that it's the first track in the game. I've got used to it now, but I'm not a fan.
The track list for 2 has been out for a while, but here's how they're mixed.
As much as I hate lining Koticks pockets, I'm exciting! It's already on pre order.

Lol. It's was so hard to judge if we made it too hard or too easy. I went slightly towards too easy IMO, which will allow more people to enjoy it. If you are doing Bahrain now wonder, vile track.
Do Aus or Canada, they're so much fun to really attack.
