We've had this conversation at work regarding the 'paramount' need for multiplayer stuff, when games that offer various cooperative play are far more enjoyable. I'm not quite sure how they would implement that in online racing - maybe a points bonus for each lap that the pair of drivers...

Apologies if I sound a bit dumb, but if you can't select a gear - the output shaft wouldn't turn when you rotate the input, would it?

Such a shame that the online community ruin it so much. It has the potential for being great - as do the majority of racing games.

I went a little further than @Chris_Beer the last time my mechanism was out. I added further grease to ALL of the swivel points and joints. It can't do any harm to lubricate those areas.

I was going to say something similar - regarding going for the TDi option over the SDi. Years ago when my dad switched from a 1.9d Berlingo to a 2.0HDi one - the HDi version was quicker, faster and did more MPGs. I think I'm correct in saying that his insurance went down on it too.
