ffs, terrible pictures, worse description.
The only pic I can see a junction in is the one without either car. In that picture, from the position of the plastic bits it looks quite close to the junction. You may well have been parallel to the main road but that doesn't mean you were up to speed.
Ah good, should help mitigate things at least. Still it is morally partially your fault, 50mph is hardly so crazy fast. If you saw he was coming you should have waited until you could judge his speed and only pulled out if you could do so without him having to slow down, regardless of if he was...
Sounds entirely like your fault actually.
If you ever cross a line on the road you have to yield to traffic on the other side of that line regardless of the speed it is doing. If you can't judge speeds properly that is your fault. As you were unable to calculate how quickly he was closing I...
Ah I didn't realise this was a post cleaning photo (what did you wax it with, vaseline?), your fashion sense is forgiven.
I reckon the volume of replies is down to the word meat in the title.
Not our fault if you're asking for it.
Took me a while to notice mine have "Clio Sport Cup" in place of the dealer's name
But as I was pulling into a car park I looked around and around 1 in 3 cars just have the reg and nothing else, even spanking 13 platers which must have come...
Basically for 2k you're looking at Williams,Ph1 172,ph2 172 or ph2 172 Cup. All are fantastic cars and I don't think there's a lot in it, horses for courses and I think you'll find a clean example of any of those for 2k (I might be wrong about the Williams, they may have started going a bit...
I hear they're all mad because they were all "hurr french cars r s**t" so they bought Vauxhalls (unreliable) or Hondas (fat and slow) only to get repeatedly caned by Clios.
Find out who it was done by. There's a few traders known to be good for it and there are probably hundreds of back street garages who can't tell an aux belt from a timing belt.
Sounds like it's probably been done though.
All the usual stuff for any car.
Special attention for timing belt because they do let go. Make sure the timing belt and aux belt and dephaser have been done by a specialist, phone the seller and ask first, that way you can check here if they're a trusted specialist before you waste your time...
Spray your tyres? :p
Seriously though, black wheels, yuk. Next you'll have non-adjusting xenons and a car bra.
Somewhere there's a chap who re-trims the steering wheels, there's a thread on it somewhere.. *rummage*

Yum...
Welcome.
You'll have to shop around carefully, there are some right munters out there. You might have better luck if you avoid dealers, most look at you like you're a martian when you ask about timing belts and think sheared bolts and don't even check the oil on a car before taking it in part...
