How to spot a good 1*2

It's simple for me. If I can break it for more than I paid should it s**t itself, it's a good car. Belts etc are irrelevant to me.

    Missing gearbox bolt

Or cut the spacer off the pipe. I'd be finding a bolt that'll work without the spacer though

    Missing gearbox bolt

^this. Without the PAS pipe there just copy the bolt above it, 16mm head. 20-25mm length iirc.

Jesus. For £600, I'll drive to yours and do it, lol. No idea re: specialists tbh. Maybe put up a wanted thread on the E30 forum? Or are none of the Clio specialists near you? I can send you a guide I give them- it's a doddle.

Yep, whip the airbox out and it's under the thermostat housing. Where the box meets the block.

Seen this in the metal a few months back- it really is really well done. Not a track car though- it's far too mint.

    Borg and beck clutch kit

I've no need to. Nothing wrong with Valeo one at all. Not much more money, so why take the risk,

Why you wouldn't just spend the extra £20 and get a Valeo, I don't know.

My new car, 80's bmw content!

Tbh, if you've not done one before it's best to get a garage to do it. There's no cam locking on the M20 either to add a bit of fun. I'd expect about £180 fitted including parts. Make sure you do the water pump too.. Just checked CP4L: Cambelt kit- £37. Drive belts - £8 for the pair. Water...

My new car, 80's bmw content!

Nope, it's cambelt and two aux belts. I did my own following a guide on E30z. Took about 2-3 hours really taking my time as I didn't want to **** it up. Easy to do though! Parts cost f**k all too.

I need to buy a house. I use cars instead of savings accounts. Mortgage companies don't take cars. :(

Real World Weight Difference: 182 FF Vs 172 Cup

182 exhaust weigh a ton. Mostly because they all seem full of water, lol. Also, lol at removing a fuel rail guard to save weight- they weigh f**k all.

Tips on fitting FARB inner bushes

Yeah, it's a fiddly cnut of a job. Last time i did them, i used a pair of mole grips, locked them off holding the C clamp in place then loosely threaded the bolts in. Awkward as f**k though.
