There are SASIC ones on Ebay UK which are the closest to OEM spec i can find.

Luckily my engine didnt fail :) I took the engine out to do cambelt and clutch, but found a bunch of other things that i need to get done while its out

Good advise, Could you perhaps link me to a store/ebay whatever in the UK that i can get an original part from perhaps ? I live in South Africa, so i import 90% of the items from the Uk, works out much much cheaper as an example i was quoted 380 pound for a crank pulley in SA

I put CUP front shocks on my standard 172. Stiffer and fit with no modification :)

Thanks for the update. Looks like i'll be in the UK soon luckily, Could anyone link me to a seller of OEM front shocks from a reputable seller ? :) If the NON OEM parts are affordable perhaps i can look at that too
