Spec wise better. Overall feel and look - D90 is more pro. Two control dials, in built motor so you can use old lenses and much better layout of buttons (less going in to menus to change things etc).

D5100 is an excellent choice. It's high ISO Performance is excellent and it's a vast improvement on your current kit.

I watched that vid but that guy creams over Nikon all the time! Most other reviews have the Pentax equal or better.

Handled the Pentax at lunch - pretty impressive TBH! D7000 was a close 2nd but wasn't a big fan of the Canon in hand. Not knocking the 60D, but its just not for me. So comes down to two... ahh decisions!

Also been mentioned that the Pentax k-5 is meant to be a good one too.
