172 cup at 19 through elephant
V6 230 at 20 through zenith (got ass raped £200+ per month)
V6 255 at 22 through elephant again
Fast forwards 4 years and various german cars....
V6 255 at 26 through elephant again lol
the previous owner fitted it mate, currently the cruise isnt working as he said he trapped a wire when fitting it, a new module is £60 i think, but tbh i never ever use cruise control (hate it, just doesnt feel safe) so its not a pressing issue...
i do miss the speed limit function though, so...
forgot this pic the other day lol
the number plate is sloooowly actually growing on me...definately one of those things that looks better in the flesh, still will probably order new ones at some point but might wait till its SORN through winter
HartZ they only made 18 in red (255's)...
It's all sheeted up in the garage now so im enjoying the dynamique power lol
Bloody good car for a 1.2! Surprisingly still enjoyable fun in the twisties!
Avoid it, it's number 167 and the history is non existent, it was some kind of finance repossession and the owner hid it from the finance company hence it not being taken anywhere for a service, it's "had the cambelt done" but no stamp or reciept to prove..
yeah, when i sold my r32 it was either go brand new and order a FF200 or go back a few years and get another vee, but ever since i sold my last one in 2008 its always been in the back of my mind to get another, and it was just getting stronger and stronger, i wanted to snap up a good one before...
at the front?
its actually a full sized plate mould under it, the front bumper grill isnt all as deep as the sides, theres a lower section in the middle for the plate :)
I agree on the plate I knew as soon as I received them I thought uh ohh that's borderline chavvy... New ones will be ordered up ASAP, do you like the font if it wasn't slanted and maybe the plate had a thin black border round the edge to take the plain ness away?
i would never actually turn my lights on through the day unless its foggy etc which the auto lights dont pick up on
auto lights are the best invention ever :)
to be honest i dont see many cars driving round with their full headlights on on a bright sunny day..its kind of pointless!
Plans for the winter are to have the recaro side mounts done in mars red with a smaller logo, and possibly to retrim the top of the seats and replace the recaro logo with RenaultSport as per the standard seats...
Nooo lol the m3 is mum and dads, I don't live at home anymore but keep the Vee there as the garage is pretty good, and it's only a mile from my house,
Recaros are mounted extra low on custom frames but still slide back and forwards :)
to be honest, neither am i mate...ordered from fancyplates.com and went for standard irish font which i like, but with a 10% slant, think thats where it went wrong...
fuels averaging around 22mpg
...got my private plate transferred over today! just need the nice weather now to take it out...stop hogging all the sun down south!!! :( Just taken on my iphone so nothing spectacular
and all tucked up away again ready for the sun to come out (sometime never)
