how do you PCP guys cope with the 6000 mile limit per year??
thats crazy low milage these days...only 500 a month?!
I hardly use my car and ive still managed 6000 miles since may?!!
IMHO any deal needs 10k minimum per year to be realistic! renault arent daft, they will end up with a...
Ahh the rotiforms! Nice wheel but not my favourites! I can't help but picture it in White wrap though...
Think I'd rather just sell though before I spent another £1k on it..

You guys have given me a complex with the wheels now! Lol I really like them personally.. When I first fitted them I had that feeling of horror when I wasn't sure, but I think now having lowered it and seen the wheels on a few rocco / golf R's I'm pretty sold on them!
I'm sick of the sight...
Wow I'm surprised at the wheels comments, aftermarket was something I wanted to avoid that was my reason for choosing oem wheels :( non res milltek is crazy loud on the mk5 much louder than mk4, either way I'd have to consider £450 very seriously before changing the oem sound :)
Had this around 9 months now, fitted H&R's and the 19" talladega wheels from the mk6 .R....the exhaust is standard (and would never change it sounds unbelievable as is) but i have fitted 100mm tips onto it for a bit extra visual effect :)
AFAIK the colour (shadow blue) is pretty rare on R's...
nice that! the pro race wheels always have that offset on the megs, cant decide if it looks better, or if they stick out just a little too far,
do like the spoiler...is it painted, or is it carbon? think it would suit my LY :D
the LSD is a huge advantage, it drags you round the corner the harder you accelerate, wheres the 200 will spin its inside wheel which is frustrating...
id say the megane is better (just) than 172/182...but id rate the clio 200 over the megane on an average lumpy b road
but as you say...
well i took my mum and dads clio 200 out for a blast today, and apart from feeling massively....ermm...slow after my megane, it was more fun overall, i guess its the old evo saying, that driving a slower car at 10/10ths is more fun than having power and having to keep backing off cause of fear...
i think that looks superb, even if it is a dodgy photoshop...with the black roof and speedlines its definately a colour i would consider..
imagine it with red R26.R 18's :D
Hi sweetpea ;) im disappointed you always wanted my vee... :(
know what you mean chris p about finding a good vee nowadays, its only the mega expensive ones and the LY ones that seem to be pampered..most of the illiad blues etc are just daily drivers and seem a bit tatty :(
ive read of a few owners of M3's who have come to the meganes, strange really because they are totally chalk and cheese in terms of driving experiences (and build quality lol)
Hi chris, i also had a TT quattro sport before my M3, it was mapped up to 270ish and exhaust etc and lowered on coilies...was a great car, would have one again anyday of the week, the fixed recaro's were the bizzo...so good infact I had them fitted into my v6 as well
but the R26 is more fun...
typical, the lakes meet and the cumbria meet are the same weekend!..which is my weekend on! arrghhh, everything always lands on when im working (work every other weekend) :(
mossy, is the owner of that red one on v6clio? i need another vee in my life like...ive even considered keeping the meg...
when is this cumbria mate richard?! quite fancy it actually!
hey hey mossy!! im bloody working that weekend...typical!!! gutted would love to catch up with the old crew! ive been eyeing up that mars red 255 vee thats appeared on pistonheads....
bmh, ive looked at your vids on youtube so many times while deciding on exhausts, i love the milltek sound, just cant live with the oval tips... one thing i will say though is, the k-tec isnt shy... its bordering on boomy at times...but it does pop and crack like a real'un :D
RS tuning have just brought out their hybrid turbo stage 3 kit, their own demo R26.R is on this and running 320bhp and 360lb/ft lol..thats crazy torque :)
not really compared it to my sisters leon, its just her derv workhorse, 140bhp model...good car...but...wrong fuel hehe
whens this cumbria meet happening then?! sounds good to me! :)
not sure on the insurance group, all i know is...its hundreds of pounds less than the 2 clio v6's and the M3 that came before it lol :)
yeah it was quite low figures, but the on road power tells the real story, the in gear torque is the main gain, stage 1 wont get much over 280lb/ft..
you can see at 6500rpm its making 60bhp more than standard :)
Owned it for 7 months now, and in that time, ive fitted a forge FMIC with K&N panel filter, its been stage 2'd by RStuning in leeds so it flies along nicely now..the torque is great!!
Also just last week I fitted my k-tec exhaust system, which is brilliant! quite loud lol... so anyways, heres...
