Am going to give this a whirl. Am hoping it'll sort the lumpiness and low idle on the 1.6. Can't hurt to try it on the 172 either. Cheers for posting about this fella;)
Bit harsh:eek:
To the OP, looks awesome mate-so clean¬!
Colour coding is a big improvement, especially with the effort you've put it to get it looking so shiny.
Putting off doing mine this avo tbh :dead:
Brentacre. Especially after I cancelled my policy with the incompetent tossers at Bell (ironic much?) who then withdrew the money for the coming year anyway. Wouldn’t be so bad but they did the exact same thing under the guise of Admiral last year!
Not only are Brentacre reasonable on...
No offence, but are you really at University?

We used 3.3ohm in Jamies. They're about 10p each from Maplin as above.
Piece of piss to fit in & secure with some electrical tape. Job done.
LOL-f**king pro scribbling mate!
Some clued up blonde nearly hammered into me doing exactly the same thing on a roundabout in town earlier. Got spidey sense of impending Y chromasome stupidity and managed to slam on & avoid.
Backed off from her and watched the dopey bint nearly do...
Oh right, I'd better take mine off then.
It barely touches. Hardly a good reason not to fit one when it looks infinitely better than the poxy std thing.
Unless perhaps they're a f**king weapon who's drifted through the higher education system having never really achieved anything worthwhile?
I’ve got several mates who’ve netted low salary jobs & who quite happily sit below the repayment threshold, smug in their view that they won't ever have...
Do it yourslef, just allow plenty of time to tap out the retaining bolts on the front struts (mind the abs cable as you do) as mine had seized in when i did them last weekend.
Having measured mine up versus the std 172 springs, its dropped it by about 20mil at the rear and just shy of 25mil at the front. I hadn't realised the std fronts weren't progressively wound unlike the sportlines which is quite a nice touch.
