Hello,
My Mum currently owns a 1.5 dci MK3 Clio with the SX bodykit. She recently caught the front splitter and it has subsiqently snapped. I've looked about and I can't seem to find any anywhere?? Any ideas on where I could pick up another one?? It looks like its part of the bumper, its not a...
I'm sure these are pretty much OEM spec. I know G172 on here does a package with them inc bearings and abs rings for the rears. I almost went for them but for the same kind of price I got Brembo HC disks and Brembo OEM pads all round from him.
Here's a guide I found for a non sport, its essentially the same mechanism on a sport, adjusts just the same.

I also found a guide on another site...
Yes, mine felt slacker than before, only slightly, makes sure you have reset the handbrake a couple of times though and it may tighten. If not its super easier to tighten, undo and remove the mid heatshield (one just after the cat/gearstick) and you'll see the adjuster under there, hold it...
Right, I give up with this bloody thing now! Had the caliper completely off, drilled into it, turned the extractor into the hole (second to largest one) started to try and turn it and snap! The extractor has now snapped in the hole ffs!! Luckily, my mate has just phoned to say he has just found...
Someone suggested sawing a line across it and using a flathead to turn it out but I think its to tight for that personally. Thank you, hoping to have it sorted this evening.
Tried all of those methods mate and no luck, its proper tight in there so I'd have to use proper force to get it out, everything I try just spins in the hole I've made. Probably going to wait for my mate to bring the caliper round later.
Thank you for the tip. It was very tight with the ratchet so I attached my giant costco jack handle pole and used it as a breaker bar, always works a treat but it just snapped :( Lesson learnt.
New brakes fitted today, couple of issues but sorting them currently. Couple of pics:
Pissed it down with rain most of the day so me and my mate set up a nice little tent!
Out with the old, in with the new:
Thank you for the reply guys!
Ive just been on the phone to a mate who have a spare 182 rear hub so I think I'm just going to swap them over, might be easier.
Had a mess about with photoshop last night, results.
Anyway, hoping to get my new brakes fitted today as I haven't had the time in the last couple of weeks. Just need to source a torque wrench :(
