The thread is serious, I just wanted to know if there was much I could do about it, I've never had new brakes before so wondered what my best option was, paint or a spray etc. I am clearly not being serious about covering my brakes in WD or copper grease.
Yes, I've just gone out and put WD40 and copper grease all over my disks.......I learnt my lesson when I put WD on my sister push bike when I was about 9 because her brakes were squeaking and she went plowing into my Dad's Volvo.
Think I shall, shocking that kits are still being sold with s**t rear springs. Anyway weight in the back at all and the rear springs fold down into each other and clonk like there's no tomorrow. When I wanted to raise the rear I moved the adjusters and instead of raising the car the springs to...
Helloooo,
Quick question really. I recently fitted brand new Brembo HC disks all round and have noticed they are starting to show signs of surface rust. Anyway I can prevent this???
I spoke to K-tec and they said they were going to contact them for me, last I heard from K-tec they were still waiting for a response and I still haven't heard anything two months later. I have new springs now which I'm going to fit this week to resolve the issue.

Yep, if your going to do it all properly then it really isn't worth the money. I was seriously looking into it on my previous Clio (1.2 16v), even got as far as getting quotes from people like Flux. Ended up buying a LY 182 and I haven't looked back. Glad I spent the money on a Sport rather than...
