The track evolution stuff is amazing. I was running Monaco in the dry earlier, when it started to rain. It was only a light shower, so I stayed out on dry tyres, a few laps later it was still raining and the track was starting to get puddles, I could barely get round, so I swapped to Inters...
We'll keep working on the teams performance as late as we can in the dev, but there has to be a cut off point for balancing purposes. I'm currently working on individual car performance.

I think that's why it's had mixed reviews. It's not far off an interactive movie, which is something some people hate. If done well it's something I get really hooked on.
Mixture of night and day so far. In and out of the nightmare/dream/whatever it is!
Finished chapter 1 at lunch. It's old school gaming really, but a great story and very moody. Recently I've lost interest in watching long winded cut scenes, but the story in Alan Wake is so compelling I'm happy to watch it all.

I sat in on that interview with Steve, but didn't really have anything to add. We did it on Tuesday!

Dev diary 2 is out tomorrow. I believe there's a short and a long version. It's on car handling tomorrow, which is what I'm spending every waking hour working in the moment.
I've seen the arse end of it hanging out of a drive in Hednesford a couple of times this week. Might not be the same car, but it's a Ph1 with a Ph2 rear bumper and Ph-Quick stickers on the skirts. I'll have to be nosier next time I pass.

I'm away on a stag do next weekend, but I'll pop down if I get back at a sensible time and I'm capable of driving. I'll drop you a text to see if you're still down there Ste.
You can chose to start out in a lower tier team and have to work your way up. The objectives set by the team will be realistic.
Not a massive amount on private life. It's mainly all related to practice/quali/race/season/team/car/team mate/rivals/weather/tracks/special races/...
The license doesn't permit the use of 2009 cars, as the game is for the 2010 season only. We recently had to remove any 2009 sponsors from a build we showed at the launch event.
Eurogamer F1 2010 special, filmed at last weeks media launch. You might even spot me in the background!
