It will depend on the view, but you can always look back, and some views will have a rear view mirror which the player can turn off. The wing mirrors are in the real places, some can be seen, others can't.

I agree about the wheelbase, it always looks thinner than it is, but it's accurate. The cars are all modelled to the data provided to us by the teams.
The in car camera is actually higher than where the driver would be, otherwise it would be way to hard to play. Anthony is very happy with...
It was a pretty amazing event. Everyone was massively positive about the game, even with it's current issues, on this occasion, the brakes being crap. It was a long hard day for me though. I had a pasty at 10.30 am then was on my feet all day, didn't eat, then drank until 5.30 this morning...
Never worked on an NFL game, worked on Lomu Rugby.
If there aren't any videos I'll run one off and upload it. Might do it from here later. Got wifi. I'll try and upload some photos from the venue later, but will most likely just stick them up on FB as that's easier for now.
IGN stuff is now up too: http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/107/1077840p1.html
By the way, in the video a lot of people are moaning about the angle of the wheel, they're right too, it's fucked up. Don't worry, it's already fixed, but changes with each major handling change.

Keep an eye out for s**t from todays Media Launch.
The bloom issue has already been raised this morning. I've made my position on it clear, as have most the design guys.
DiRT was available via Steam, so I see no reason why F1 won't be.
GRID had a lot of bloom, DiRT had a lot less. Ours varies depending on which circuit you're at. The screenshots were taken weeks ago, and lighting and post processing is far from final in those shots of the dry hot circuits. It actually came up today, about how we want it to look.
Some...
The boss at work has pretty much the same package from MRC on his S4. Other than the larger wheels he's added and the MRC badge it looks standard, but is obviously a complete weapon. It's his daily driver, as he has a fully restored and mint Porsche 993 Turbo for fun!
Yeah, 25" Sony for the lounge, 14" Sony for the bedroom. LOL The biggest issues with the 29" was that it was about 2 foot deep!!
People with s**t screens are an issue to be honest. We could have much nicer menus with really nice text if people still didn't own shitty old CRTs.
We also played...
Goldeneye isn't going to happen. Nintendo don't want it on a MS console, and Activision Blizzard currently have the Bond license.
That's 3 companies who need to come to an agreement!!!
I played Goldeneye to death, but PD never really did it for me. Same for PD Zero on 360.

Here you go guys, if you look carefully you'll get a rough release date: http://pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpass_news_item.php?fes_art_id=40080
In the article Andy mentions Crofty and Holly Samos, who are both reading my scripts in the game, plus Ant, who is my handling consultant, and the nicest...
Obviously it's based on the tech used for all other Codies racing games, but we've re written the aero(properly done based on the angle of the car and wings under changing loads and pitch etc.), engine, tyres (official tyre data used), transmission and gearbox code, as well as adding proper slip...
We've been doing a lot of work on the AI, there's some seriously clever stuff in there. We've got a really clever coder working on perfecting proper racing techniques.
I've also done a first pass on setting them up to drive Monza properly. They were lapping within 1 second of my time, which...
Is it obvious? Mine was very obvious, yet somehow made it through Quality Control at the import centre, and Renault Birminghams post delivery inspection. Funnily enough the guy responsible for that claimed to be on holiday that day. A likely story, on holiday on March the 1st, one of the...
My new 197 had dirt in the paint and a really nasty run on one of the wings. Both had to be resprayed from new!!
I questioned the dealer on any damage that had happened in transit or in the yard, and they claimed there hadn't been any. So I asked a friend at RUK to confirm, and no work had...
Someone has scanned the OXM one, that's out to subscribers now.

Just had copies of the OPM and OXM 'hands on' arrive. If you're thinking of buying it, either of these will make your minds up. As usual I can't quote them until they're on the shelves, but they're very, very good.
I did at least 50 laps of Catalunya today. Made some nice set-up changes. Mainly suspension, geometry and aero. Really starting to feel amazing. I was using the Fanatec Porsche wheel, but moved to the 360 wheel as it's better suited to F1. The Fanatec feels too road car for me.
