I find them brilliant for the money. Everyone who get's in the car comment's on how smooth it is to say how low it is. Really is a comfy ride imo, not all that far from standard. They've pitted badly quite quickly i've noticed, compared to more expensive makes and i do clean my arches quite...
Been wanting spacer's for a while now and after seeing the PB 182 on this forum it spurred me on even more.
In the end i went for 20mm at the front and 15mm at the rear, hubcentric's ofcourse.
The front before:
And after:
The back before:
And after:
Also a few better pic's of the...
As said, at tester's discretion. My Saxo failed at one MOT station and that was before i put the manifold on. They were overly fussy there though, never been back since.
Other than that one place i've never had a problem with MOT's and after market exhausts.

I say if you like them, go for them. But it's going to need lowering big time to even slightly pull them off.
Imo.
This. All fun enough for a B road blast.
As for the comment about 172 owner's getting arsey? Hope that wasn't aimed at me because i never got arsey lol. I made my choice based on the fact the ph2 172 ticked every box i wanted for little money. Nice interior, still pokey, still handles decent...
It might have boost they're not a pretty car by any means. Sort of like a body kitted Micra.
Fair doo's if the lad is happy with it, just not my cup of tea.
Agree with above statements about insurance. Just because you're old and insurance doesn't go over £400 for you lot doesn't mean the younger one's get it cheap too.
My mk1 1.4 RT Clio cost me £1700 tpft when i was 17!! And no, 1.2's etc weren't any cheaper. So insuring this barge for less is...
