I 100% understand what you're saying. When i first got my 172 i loved the fact it was smooth etc... The only thing that annoyed me was the s**t exhaust a previous owner had put on, although it was very quiet it just looked ugly.
I'm certainly not modding my 172 to the extent i did my Saxo. I...
The only other one i've seen is lowered and has a twin exhaust (like mine had when i got it). Other than that i haven't seen any other Flamers. I think that one i mentioned start's with something like HV53... iirc.
Well if i go i'll be heading with some friends a bit later than that. Said i'd go with them anyway plus it means i get more of a lie in than you :rasp: Haha. But if i do i'll be heading over to the CS stand anyway so if i spot you i shall say hi.
Btw, you spotted me bloody quick! I felt like...
Yea, you should have! Flame Red is a good colour isn't it :o
As soon as i came round the corner approaching the light's the RB just hit me in the face aswell lol. Certainly a colour you notice!
And folk's complimenting your car is always a good feeling! I'd like to say i'd see you at FCS but i...
Ford's are generally good handling car's though are they not? So IF it handle's good and has around about the same sort of power as a Clio it'll be a good package whilst being better built and cheaper.
Win, win?
I think the newer Fiesta's look really smart personally. The inside is very funky and futuristic. I can see it being a good car - and if it's kicking out 180bhp (and let's face it, Ford's figure's tend to be a bit more accurate than Renault's) then i reckon it will have enough poke to be...
I was just pulling onto Nottingham Road as you were going down. Not seen it around Mansfield before but looked very nice.
Not sure if it was a 197 or 200 though... My memory really is pants lol.
If it didn't have the F1 sticker's it'd be a s**t load better. But it does look very smart. Turini's are starting to grow on me on these now.
Focus wanted to chase you?? :S
Sunday 29th (today/yesterday depending on how picky you're being with time :rasp: )
Down Matlock i spotted a Liquid Yellow (yes, liquid - not sunflower) ph1 on anthracite rim's?
Also i think Coop but in the ph1, not the Turbo.
You do understand how risky it would seem to some people going to a garage with a sporty car with people you've only just met? For all you know they might mug you of your car lol.
I'm going to go with the masses tbh. Whilst a 1.6 16v might be a little quicker than your 1.2 it certainly won't be anything worth calling and you'll quickly get bored of it.
If you want a quick Clio get a 172, although at that money it's more likely to be a Phase 1. If it doesn't have to be a...
There's one going round with a plate very similar to that i think. Goes past my work quite often.
But it's lowered on standard rim's. Has the double tail pipe though. Unless he's changed his wheels maybe. I'll keep an eye out.
Does seem a bit over the top. A bit 'sad' if you like.
I get the whole 'car having a personality'... My Saxo had a massive personality to me. I'm certain it loved winding me up at time's lol.
But to actually post something like that on the net, maybe pushing it a bit.
Although good...
Much like almost everybody on this forum at 18 if that is the case. Those who didn't crash at that sort of age were just lucky, like myself.
It's the way of life, you learn as you get older.
Unlucky with the car chap. Hope you get it fixed soon.
I used the original wire's... Just cut the plug off (allowing plenty of wire both on the plug and in the door incase i ever swapped when selling car)... Then soldered the wire's in the door to my new wire's.
