Is that the width of the mounting holes on the base of your sidemounts where they would bolt to the subframe?

I've been asked a lot lately about designing adaptors to lower standard seats,the truth is its not worth spending money on design and then manufacturing them as they wouldn't sell. The half leather seats are worthless at the moment and adaptors would be atleast £160 a set.I personally can't...

Most of the sidemounts will mount to my subframes but you do need to make sure they are compatible with your seat mounting homes and also the width of the seat and position on the subframe.

I can supply you with one of my VBD Clio X-Low subframes. This bolts directly to the floor of your car. You can either bolt your sidemounts or runners onto it before fitting your bucket seats. Price is £130 for two or £70 for a single. Jon

It might be worth getting the bolts in the transfer box checked. They can cause knocking on the front as they periodically come loose and eventually shear. Plenty of threads in MLR you can read up on. Jon

You need to space the inside of an OMP subframe by around 18mm or 3/4"

You need a subframe to fit them in your 172 etc. I've supplied many sets of my VBD Clio X-Low subframes to members on here.

My VBD subframes for the Clio give you the lowest possible seating position. Take a look in the group buy section in parts for sale.

I think the OMP subframe needs to be raised by 19mm if I remember correctly. The best way is to just shim it up a little at a time until it's all level. Jon

My VBD X-Liw subframes are actually as low if not lower than the weld in tubes pictured here. There is only so far down you can go after all. y VBD

They use a universal set of holes found on most subframes available for a wide range of cars so you should be fine.
