Coil pack, happened to me on my 1.2 (common fault). Brought a new one for £35 and fitted it, job done!
Also, f**k paying £85 for it. Where did you take your car? :S
Yes, it's a loophole!
More info on here http://www.motinfo.gov.uk/htdocs/m4s01000701.htm if they are fitted they must work, but if they're not fitted then it doesn't matter!
No it won't. They can't test what isn't there, same as the auto leveling. If it is a standard feature of the car it would have to work. However 1.2's never came with Xenons so don't require them.
It's a lot of effort tbh, I would just get some washer blanks.
However for a start you will need a new washer bottle and at least one new pump (maybe 2 actually). But I'm still not sure if it will be possible even after that.
Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
Well done. If I was you I would hide the car, then go down to the place you found it and wait for the f*****s to come back looking for it
Sounds good! Exactly how I want mine :o
Also in two minds whether to keep my cup wheels or not. Quite a few people don't like them on here but I really do!
Haha ;)
I want to get a 3/4 plate so bad, tidy's the front end up so much. Going to wait until I've been driving two years though as I don't want to attract any unwanted attention! Ride height looks really good as well. Are the wheels spaced?
Can you pm/ tell me price? I think these look awesome and want them in my inferno. I've seen that Bonxy has does it with Megane sport ones but they're hard to come across!
Re: East Midlands - Rolling road day - Date TBC
Sargara can you do the 16th.
Also forgot to mention it's 3/4 runs depending on the results. Ie if you have a random result they will run you again
Seriously, people are giving you advice for a reason. Fitting a set of spacers is a lot easier then doing what you're on about. Plus we also have a resident trader (DAN@M.A.D) who makes spacers. Look at his section of the forum.
Or you could save for a 182? I'm 18 and insured on one.
Re: East Midlands - Rolling road day - Date TBC
I can't wait too see this! Infact I want to come for a passenger ride :D So are you good for any of the Saturdays mentioned?
Good, any of the Saturdays? What car will you be getting?
Okay, will be nice to see your car as I've never seen it...
No autowipers/lights. This is a hard conversion as the 182 cup (what a trophy is based on) runs the N2 UCH, not the N3 like normal 182s. They also don't have as much sound deadening.
Basically Trophy = 182 Cup with some bolted on extras!
Oh yeah s**t spec wheel, not sure if they have door sill...
