Has it ran before? Can you force ign on to prove card is recognized?
Im not 100% on the wiring for 197 - on 182 i had to bypass the starter relay as it wouldnt crank as immob circuit was not complete - assume ecumaster wont deal with immobiliser.
Antifreeze concentration test should be done with every service to give you an idea on concentration and change it every 3-5 years so wouldnt be concerned with that
If you cant get a decent pedal it will need abs block activating and pressure bleeding. Get a load of fluid and keep bleeding in sequence.
The oldskool way to do is wedge the brake pedal down a little to stop the master/abs block draining and change caliper fast. Never let it drain unless...
Thinking about it i dont think its possible to fit them wrong with the way the flexis fit but have seen it done on other cars which makes them more or less impossible to bleed.
Pressure bleed it.
Vibratechnics are decent enough, and no real noticeable nvh if you use the top one and the top gearbox one, combined with a polybushed dogbone.
Febi prob do an oem style top mount. Failing that the kangoo one.
As soon as i seen the goyou brand on the bearing i knew that would be the issue.
Sadly aftermarket rear discs and bearings have always been poor on these.
Yeah itlll be mapped open loop so ecu wont do nowt with afr reading. I might be wrong but i think itll be mapped in alpha n.
I was thinking better flow on new system - might free up a bit of power/change torque curve a bit with the length and header design. Be interesting to see back to back...
Yep bit of thickness on the back keeps you in the recaro's :D
Regarding power delivery most of the tuners back in the day ramped the boost and torque in low down in the rpm to make the 225/26 feel fast, but sod all power 5k+ rpm.
My current r26 was the same on its old Rstuning map, loads of...
2024 update.
After coming off the road in October last year the Kangoo is taxed and back on the road.
Started straight up no hesitation today first crank. Jacked it up and changed wheels for the white compomotives. Whilst wheels were off checked everything over for mot, all looks OK.
I had...
Bearing only goes in so far, cant imagine it moving out unless seriously bad tolerances/circlip doing nowt.
The bearing is also Goyou - chinas finest. Id bet my bottom dollar the bearing has failed.
Bin the disc and bearing for oem.
If your doing rings its full engine rebuild.
Main and big end bearings, crank grind if needed, minimum hone or rebore and oversized pistons, new oil pump etc. Id prob add supertech valves to that list for reliability.
If the engine is running ok just fix the leaks and new belts and send it.
Sunday update.
Had spare half hour so cleaned up the seatbelts..they were super grotty and retracting pretty slow.
Mixed up a bucket of vanish oxy action and got the drill brush out. Quick soak in the bucket and buzz over with the brush.
Before - drivers belt was even worse was black
After -...
Cheers all (y) Feel like i have got to a point with it where im pretty happy with it, use and maintain.
I love the way it looks on the compomotives. I fancy trying my white set on it at some point to see how it sits on them.
Its on cooksport springs and oem r26 shocks, same as your new one iirc.
