Great job, should be a good improvement in handling with the wide track.
Lambda on cruise set screen is spot on. I might look into seeing if its possible to do that on my ecumaster black. Set always comes up with ign on, might aswell use it as cruise is not hooked up.

It drives excellent on new map, mid 30s mpg on the street. Id say this is the perfect level of mods for a meg2. Nothing too extreme, goes well and handles great.

Yep uch, ecu and key thats all you need. Id try the trophy one but dont have the oem ecu as its on standalone.
I do have another ecu set somewhere but that had issues from memory.

Had a reply from Efi and i should be able to get in on Thursday for mapping.
Cant wait, not expecting massive figures, just a good safe tune on stock turbo. Be interesting to see if it can be ran up on current map to see what it makes as is.
Give the engine cover a spruce up today with some silver wheel paint and new stickers. Quick rub over with scotchbrite and panel wipe down then blast over. Turned out OK.

Thanks mate. It all worked out quite nice for an unknown conversion. Only downside was cost!

I was expecting to turn it around in a week but yeah soon realised it was pretty much scrap. ill pass on rebuilding another one for now ive had enough pain for a few month :LOL:

Uch issues are generally dry solder joints in the board so you wont see much unless stripping it down and looking on the circuit board carefully.
Send it off to diesel pump repairs and he will check it over and sort any issues...

Used stock 14t turbo bought as i suspected the seal was leaking on this one as slight oil whiff on idle after changing seals. Was absolutely correct diagnosis when removed.
Chra/cold side easy to remove.
Rear seal leaking oil, oil on core can be seen.

Was it the esp light on the dash? the abs/non esp cars dont even have the yaw sensor. Mines disconnected and esp button removed and light turned off on dash, abs light works as it should and no faults stored. Had no choice getting rid...
Them boots look like they are for the hydraulic rack with the larger inner. I cant remember the part number but i found some that fitted ok, even if slightly smaller they will go on.
These will work ok going by the size. The rubber is soft will stretch on fine...
The fasteners arent too bad, was just the monkey that had been there before sadly. Luckily have a load of used ones so made a set up.
Engine bay sound deadening is about shagged on it. Needs replacing really but i dont think its possible to find a good used one.

Started off with installing new cam seals.
Ching spec mandrel doing the business.
Dug out the homemade crank puller.
Easy work.
That took a whole half an hr max. Onto sump removal next. Im no stranger to the etorx bolts holding them on and how soft they are. 5 bolts were...
Ive bled my trophy from totally dry and no issues bled up straight away without activating abs, but had to put 4ltrs through another renault and had to activate the abs solenoids a few times to get a good pedal.
Luck of the draw, suck it and see i guess. Buy a pressure bleeder if you dont...
