^ I wouldn't say that. Looks great!
I'd love to try a twist on that shot and put the horizon bang in the middle, then flip it horizontally, so the reflection is upright.
888s come up for sale much more often, so I can only assume that's why they're popular.
I know as I bought a second hand set, lasted me ages too. Never had any complaints with them, even in the wet. Although I have never tried anything else to compare to.
I've seen quite a few TVs, I've even watched one for an hour or so in an airport lounge.
It just seems nothing more than a gimmick really, as you say.
The only time I've ever even slightly been impressed with 3D was at Ferrari world, where they have a 3D ride, i.e. watching a 3D screen while...
There's nothing wrong with it per se, it's just for a shot which I'm guessing was taken not long before sunset, you would expect a warmer tone to the image.
That looks very wintery to me.
Glad you're liking the new filters! It's the only way to take proper landscape shots.
Nice shot Scott.
Again, for me it has a very cool white balance. I've noticed my Hi-tech grads create a slightly cooler WB than my Lee filters (hence why they're cheaper), so I have to do more corrections in post. I would also guess the Hitech 10 stop is much cooler than the Lee filter too...
Can't say I miss my 182 when I'm driving my car.
Don't get me wrong, it was an awesome car. It's just the game has moved on.
I do miss being able to get a bike in the back though :(
True, I had a little play and it's quite fun. Either doing full timelapse sequences of landscapes etc, or making little fun movies.
Ideally you need a tripod for the iPhone. Which is a bit overkill, and something I would only try to make myself.
Good to hear Dave :)
Snapseed is probably the best all in one app. Camera+ has some neat effects as well.
Photogene has good noise removal feature, which is handy for phone pics.
errr......quite a few :o
Firstly, I only paid for a handful of those. Most I got when they were free on offer.
Snapseed and Camera+ are probably two of my favourite.
Slowshutter is a neat app, allows long exposure shots which does work pretty well actually.
I like instagram as it encourages you to see photos everyday, with your phone camera, which these days take very nice photos.
As they say, the best camera is the one with you.
^It's actually really good Brazo. Yes of course there are a lot of t***s on there. But there are some amazing photographers sharing their work too. I almost met up with one the other day by chance.
Give it a go, with your standard of work you should be among the people using it properly.
It's a kind of social media thing, but just using photos...no pointless updates about what people are having for breakfast.
You do get a lot of t***s on there, as expected. But just don't follow them.
Thanks Martin, yeh I think that was 16mm, so pretty wide!
I like your shot, only things I would say is the horizon looks like it slopes off on the right hand side. But I think the horizon is straight, must be an illusion with the fence or something lol!
Epic panning as usual Nick. Love the through the crowd shots too even if you think they're marmite shots ;)
Also, it looks like your sensor is about as dirty as mine lol! I'm trying to give mine a proper clean tomorrow.
