Cool.
Fair play for getting up at 4am though. I've only got up for a sunrise twice, once I got an epic sunrise, the next time it was crap...so that kind of put me off doing it again.
An 18-200mm is a very good all round lens. If you're not too worried about having the sharpest or fastest lens etc, you could get away with that as your only lens.
lol! Yes in essence the different colours are used for detecting different things. Semen fluoresces best under blue light for example, I know as I had to do a full study on it! (before anyone asks, I didn't provide the juices!!)
As I'm a little bit more experienced, I have a rough idea where to place them, but the final tweaking is very much try it and see.
The flashes have modelling lights on too, essentially a constant light (not a flash) so you can pretty much see what the shadows etc will look like when the flash...
Had a nice couple of days in the studio at work this week, we're redoing our brochure, so time for some fresh pics of our products.
These products are handheld forensic light sources, used for finding evidence at crime scenes (in a nutshell). Being silver, they're a bit of a challenge to...
That photo is very underexposed, whoever took that! Not the best use of filters at all.
0.3 won't be enough in my opinion. 0.6 is good, if it's a strong sunset (if you get what I mean), then 0.9 is best.
Also, in that shot about for example, I would use a hard grad at the horizon, then take a...
Get either a 0.6 or 0.9 Hard grad ND. You could get a soft grad, but I think hard is better for sunsets, of course it depends on the landscape too.
Get the UWA adapter, if you're using it on a wideangle.
I was told by a couple of tuners at garages I've taken my VX to that they can tell which fuel has been used when they take the engine apart as most parts are much cleaner etc.
I probably fill up once a month, so the extra 10p a litre is neither here or there. I've used V-Power for the two years...
I bought my 70-200mm from jessops. Of course they didn't offer any sort of discount, and I certainly didn't ask.
If you don't ask you don't get. But I'd be surprised if they five you any discount.
Why does it ruin it? Granted its removing the comfort, practicality etc. but some people couldn't give a f**k about having that in a car. Myself included, which is why my 182 was completely stripped.
More grip doesn't mean more fun.
I would personally get a set of tyres on that your not too fussed about and just have fun. Track days aren't about going as quick as you can, just the most fun.
True.
I must admit when I use my iPod, it's like a have cataracts! So I can only assume going from an iPad '3' to an iPad 2 would be the same. (just less noticeable )
Well of course that's correct.
Any device that you hold at a further distance, you will notice the increased resolution less.
The point I made about the iPhone is: as you naturally hold the iPhone closer, the difference between a non retina display and a retina display is greater. I know, as...
