Cheers @Christopher its in lovely condition, bodywork is a fair bit better than my 330i, barring the front bumper, which is very "motorway miles". But yes to you and @massivewangers, the intention is most likely to fix it and sell; although ill use it for a little while to make sure all is fine...
So between Christmas & New Year i bought a manual e91 N53 325i off ebay, with a misfire, whilst a bit drunk.
I'll post about it in here, just because hopefully it'll be an easy fix and i can get back to messing about with the 330i.
I have no imagination.

Having now done a bit more reading on the "CarTechnoloGY" forum: https://cartechnology.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?fid=61, it would seem that up until about June, with the coding that ive done, it would give you BMW Live, BMW Internet & Apps for Spotify etc. Unfortunately, BMW appear to have someone...
Haha!! I can safely say that in the past 3 years, i've been sideways in RWD once.
Needless to say, being that i was in the Porsche at the time, with its fairly high limits, i completely cr4pped myself ?
FWD, on track? All the flipping time ?
I would tend to agree, its all about setup in FWD.
For it to be fun, you NEED the option for lift off oversteer, i.e. the ability to steer on the throttle. Without that, on a trackday for example, when you really get to explore the limits, it can only be about lap times, which, unless you're...
Haha, i can understand that completely, if i leave mine in my pocket, the Combox/CIC will just pull through a random playlist through from my iPhone & stream it via bluetooth. Doesnt need to be plugged in for music, text messages or phone calls ? Before i had to bugger about turning on...
I do at the moment yeah, but there is apparently some funky chinese adapter that will allow me to mirror it to the screen - might be a future upgrade perhaps ?
What about you, through the phone, or via Cartplay of some sort?
I dont use the Nav ever!! Waze is my preference.
On that basis, the iDrive dial (& Audis latest controller as per my old RS3) is far better than touch sceen, i find it actually quite difficult to choose things in the Porsche as you drove down the road; either your finger misses the right button...
Thing is, you could get 20-23% off these things new if you simply went on BabyBMW or Pistonheads, so its not surprising the 2nd values have taken a pounding!
If you paid retail, you're pretty much a numpty. This whole thing acts as a reminder to always research a purchase thoroughly ?
Plenty...
lol. Sad times. You want PS4 then. Just fitted another set to Sarah's TT (its had nothing but Pilot Sports for the past 10 years). I'd wager that on the road they are probably just about as good, with more than likely slightly better wet weather performance. Wont be as good on track, or in super...
Unless they are brand new, they are absolute turd; its what the RS3 came on when i bought it.
Swop them out & the car will be transformed. On anything high powered/RWD, there is no reason not to fit PS4S these days.
I found my M135i fine in the wet, you just drive to the conditions as per any other car, well barring the RS3, irrespective of the conditions that thing was ballistic lol ... on the flipside, i found the MPSS to be absolutely useless in the greasy conditions post rain. Actual water on the ground...
Not gonna lie, i wouldnt put my wife in that thing, let alone my kids, if i had any.
Ignoring the fact that its not really my scene, surely compared to modern machinery, its not particularly safe?
Well, one of my cup holders is slightly broken, so when they do eventually get replaced it would be rude not to upgrade ... ?
Am really pleased with the changes though, as @Christopher says, the iDrive etc really makes the interior feel more modern!
You can turn off the rev matching on the M2 using Bimmercode @MarkCup : https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1418405
Will be the same (or similar) in the M140i im sure.
Cheers to all! Has been a decent amount of work, but the final piece of the jigsaw came today ...

Feel free! Tbh, before i got into it, it seemed "a bit much" but honestly, with the guides available, its fairly easy.
Being the person that does the initial investigation to write the guides? Nah, im good thanks ?
Re: screws, im a bit OCD, so tape them to whatever part/hole they come out of...
So this happened.

Back in 2008, a chap called "Booster4075" created a mammoth thread on how to retrofit CCC.
He then created a nice little PDF which i followed for the dash removal etc...
From my understanding, and having driven/owned pretty much every BMW produced in the past 30 years, the manual BMW gearbox has felt the same since about 1983. Probably before then as well. That's just how it is. Floor hinged pedals are the correct choice btw, perfect for heel & toe! Anything...
I did tell @MarkCup to try the e90 M3 that James Paul also had in stock, but he likes "boost" too much these days!
They even had one the same spec as my old one, so he'd still have bought a black car with red leather ?
@MarkCup they are pretty small cars i think. To compare, my friend ollie had a fiesta st when i had my M135i ...
Also compared to the e46:
On the flipside, how tiny is Sarah’s mk1 TT compared to more modern cars!! That beetle lol.
Mine was a manual ?
Needed a diff & decent suspension soooooo badly.
Will have another though, when they get to sub £12k and i realise i cant afford a F80 M3 lol
As mad as it sounds, i saw a chap on Saturday turn up for an MOT with a can of Stella in his hand and a parrot on his shoulder...
Has it got runflats on it Mark?
Get them swapped out for the SuperSport/MP4S if so ... will help a decent amount with grip. Especially with the LSD ?
Nice decision BTW, spec is epic, which id bought Jeff's now, could have been black/red M135i fwends ..
Yes, lots of options available if you have the double scoop screen to fit it all into. Will deffo do that first, then assess what i want to fit in "all the holes" ?
Re: the M135i ... I saw it for sale yesterday actually ... instantly thought "i recognise that car" ?
It doesnt actually look that hard (famous last words!), 5 bolts holding it in, but lots of ancillaries that need to come off. 3 hours work apparently ... ?
I want to fit OEM bluetooth, so considered just getting the unit that GrahamS has, but realistically speaking (unlike @Jeff simply), i hate...
