I’ve just been informed that a friend of a friend ordered the PMS hydraulic conversion 3 months ago and he still hasn’t received it. I’ve read a few things saying PMS can’t deliver the goods lately. Looks like I’ll be getting it welded up. Ffs. 🫣

I find the Meguires microfibre pad and Meguires ultimate compound is more than enough for someone wanting to make their paint nice. You won’t chase out all the defects but it’s an idiot proof combo that gives good results. I’m actually doing a car with it tomorrow so I’ll post some pics and you...

I can’t see how you’ve warped them. In fact I’ll put money on it you haven’t. Pad transfer is the likeliest cause.

I use our local trading estate. It’s empty from about 7pm and I can do as many laps as I want. Alternatively, just get a set of duplicate number plates made up from your daily driver and fit those. Won’t ping up on ANPR then… 😂👍

No, but I would personally. To be fair I would do the following; wire wheel the absolute s**t out of it, cover it in rust converter, then paint it with Raptor. Once it’s done you shouldn’t need to touch it again. Which is why I’d rather spend more time doing it rather than just painting it...

Just scotch it up with a pad and give it a quick rinse with some panel wipe. Honestly mate, it’s the easiest stuff to apply.

Satin black raptor paint. It’s strong as s**t and will withstand the salt/rain/stones no bother.

If you’re changing the air con rad you may as well - they cost peanuts - change the main radiator too whilst it’s all apart.
