Well I've just put the 2nd coat of black on and its looking good now. The primer I used is a 'filler' primer so it should help it, or so motor-world monkeys say. If it fails on this wheel I'll try again and learn the lesson for next time.
^ The ability to drive other cars 3rd party covers you for 3rd party owned vehicles. If you own it your not covered mate, otherwise you could use that policy for the purpose of taxing it.
Dang, I spent a long long time with the 180, then went to 320 and went over everything. I guess I'll just have to see. The 80 did a good job of taking the rust of the inside though :D
haha the P80 was a huge mistake so I spent about 2 hours going over it with finer sand paper. The primer highlighted some of the worse areas so I took my time with the 1500 wet sanding it. The 1st coat of black just gone on and the scratches cant be seen, just getting the paint on the inside of...
I thought I'd have a go at changing the colour of my TSW venoms to black, I decided to start with just 1 wheel. This way I can see if I can get it right to refurbish my TSW Heat wheels. I got off to a rocky start but I'm coming along OK now.
I started by going to halfords and buying some...
Any-one? I need to sell this so if I dont get a reply it will be sold to a non-clio owning member as he was 1st in line when I put them up. I would like a reply ASAP please...
^ Haha, I love them alloys...
I think the thing about the handling is the car will only handle as well as the driver can drive. Ignis Sport is very impressive handling wise but I dont have the skills to use its full potential (yet), so I'll not be winning any back road battles.
Hell Pootle Im not doing to be doing my tracktime slot so was looking at selling it on. I've had a couple of offers but not sure what I am to do, no reply from a PM I sent you a few days ago. Does the person doing the track slot need to have a clio and is there a reserve list for the tracktime...
Alpine CDA9812-RB, £200-ish and it has DAB tuning ability and CD/MP3 capabilities. It can also do Ipod control if you get a lead I think. www.caraudiosecurity.com
I'd go find it but im too lazy whilst at work.
christ your a hostile bunch, esp considering half of you drive around in cars with blinding xenons. Usefull if you live in the country where there is no light, but otherwise annoying...
Nice pics mate
If I was gonna modify it I'd get it looking like super 1600 cars they run, they look sweet but like said I'll try and keep it standard. cheers for the comments guys :D
no mods on the ignis, I like it as standard plus any aftermarket kit on them is quite expensive. Im happy with it as it is. It would look good with certain changes to it.
Yeah got a pretty good quote for a '95 but they didn't know about the '96 models that I was looking at so wouldn't insure it, every-one that knew about the '96 GTs came back with rediculous quotes :(
I was very close to buying a starlet GT Turbo, I love them they are fast for a little engine aswell! When I checked insurance though every-one said that the GT Turbos were imports so how are imports grouped?
lol, if its a local dog p*ing on my car it'll have more than a kidney problem. Cheers Ill take it to a garage and get them to have a proper look at it I think, then probably have to replace the hub I expect?
If you're having a look at one Mark go check out www.sisoc.co.uk Theres loads of usefull information on what to look for and stuff. Its weird there to me as in comparison to here its a tiny club but the information there helped me make sure that I didn't drive 100miles for a banger.
