I'm the other way of thinking. Better to be in quick stuff when you're young and learn to handle it.
At the end of the day you can just as easily fall off the road doing 80 in a 1.2 than doing 80 in a 2.0.

Cliosport runs and me don't mix too well. Nearly bent my MX-5 on one and then set fire to my GTi on the next one. So i don't tend to participate anymore.
Well at the moment the idle isn't even registering on the tacho so it must be sub 400!
It runs fine the rest of the time except you have to rev it and hold it at 2k when starting it from cold untill it'll idle.
I ran with no plate for age with the MX-5. Got fed up of worrying so i put a sticky one on and got pulled 3 times for it. Got let off all 3 times though.
Mainstrem companies don't do it for one reason. If you don't do it right it won't work.

Exactly if they'd copied the BMW CSL model and made the R. actually usable they'd have probably sold them all.

The R. is mainstream as it was within the reach of the average buying public.
