Amazing how much has changed, even in the relatively few years I've been around. In 2006 there were still loads of Valvers around, now you rarely see one at a meet.
1) Use a tripod or something to support your camera
or
2) By a Nikon D300 or D3, which has epic high ISO performance and could shoot through the night handheld.
Seriously though, the biggest issue is movement, as long as your camera is still you can experiment as much as you like with...
Congrats to WilT for the victory in the last round with this image depicting the subject 'Body Parts'...

Comp runs from now until midnight Sunday 29th June. Any photos entered must be taken between now and midnight...
Hardly any cropping for many of the shots, I actually had to wait until they were further away on many occasions as I was shooting with my prime (i.e. no zoom control), I missed many of the moments when they did their crowd line stuff because I was too close.
The hardest thing was framing...
Not really the camera imo (if anything a pro camera will highlight any areas of weakness in a photographer), but more the sheer volume of stunning locations he has access to and visits on a regular basis. I mean just look at his "This Month" set, I've not been to that many places in my entire...
lol, I was thinking about that shot a few minutes ago as it's the one that most looks like I took it from the sky!
No idea to be honest, I just seemed to be taking photos at different times to everybody else so at the time I wondered if I was doing something wrong :)
Wooooo superb, some excellent shots there.
Is this on the actual circuit? Looks brilliant for photos. Can anyone go along, is there a calendar of events? So many questions :)
I didn't really understand why Cliosport couldn't have a stand, there were plenty of modern clubs there, a reasonable amount of free space in the paddock and Clio V6, Megane R26 etc out on track. Bit odd.
Glorious weather, lots of nice cars and all day track action, can't ask for more than that :)

It's been reviewed in Evo (October 2005, got it here in front of me, got 4 out of 5 btw). Worth tracking down a copy, as I assume it would be your actual car they reviewed.
Canon are chasing all those people that have been buying the new entry level Nikons (D40/60) in their hundreds of thousands... ;)

Will be interesting to see the price point, looks like a great 'my...
Yes, in Red :)
Bought it for just over a grand to last me a while when I sold the Cup and bought a house, year and a half later it's still going well (touch wood) so I keep putting off the purchase of a Ph1 172. More and more tempted by a Twingo GT now though, fun cheap motoring by the looks...
genuinely pmsl! I think 'Sports Car' might be going a bit far though ;) Although there is a kid in our street who thinks I'm the 'man with the Ferrari', bless the misguided little thing.
No doesn't sound like me, and yep I'm a Nikon man. I can only recall a guy wearing white who walked off towards the Paddock from Druids about 4pm, and another guy who was on the inside of Druids near the Carlube bridge in the afternoon (think he was driving a Pug)
Slow shutter speed efforts...
