    Jekyll's RB182 Progress Thread

With trade card I saved £10. As said, I didn't think the elf stuff would have come in time and I was fortunate to use the ramp that day. It wasnt available after that so it worked well. I've no crunches, or any negative symptoms for that matter, apart from the leak and whine, which I had before...

Thank you mate! Not sure on mint and certainy not as clean now as I got a fair bit of stones thrown at me from sundays blast from the car in front! That map was for the meeting point. I'm actually in Harlow, Essex (J7 on M11) I totally forgot to reply to your PM so I'll do so now.

@Radugns its given me no symptoms at the moment tbf and I gave it a good drive yesterday with no issues. I do normally buy the Renault stuff but I needed it this week, so this was a easy choice. I cant comment fully on that, but I did it a few years back when I needed something quick and just checked and it was GL5. However, this isn't permanent, so hope it'll be OK until the rebuild is done.

    Jekyll's RB182 Progress Thread

Set off early sunday morning. The roads had a lovely sunrise breaking through with a bit of mist also. I grabbed a few pre meeting shots as i thought it looked cool. Then met the boys up ready for a blast. These included @Ricardos @frayz @MrBlonde Will in his R26, a friend Chris in his...

Since i've recently had a full brake fluid change, i wanted to go back to my Mintex 1114's to see if they made much difference over my standard pads. Glad i kept these as i had them up for sale and they was still in good condition. Gave the brakes a clean up while i was there with some Muc-Off...

    Jekyll's RB182 Progress Thread

Done a few more things on the RB recently. For a long time now, my gearbox has leaked and whined. It's only getting worse too. After talking to Alex at AWMotorsport, i've decided to get one rebuilt. Alex has already stripped a spare one and i steam cleaned it the other day. It will go off for...

Went out for a early morning blast this morning with some friends (including a few members from here) and I stopped off before the meeting point to grab these shots as the setting looked cool.

What was the matter with your heater matrix again? Great work mate. Car looks great and nice to see the maintenance being done, even on a higher mileage. Looks half those miles.

Best 182 exhaust you can buy currently, that I can use on track.

The PMS is actually quite quiet, even with decat. I have heard @Ash J one in petson after we fitted it. Your Yozza will sell easy too, to make pennies for the new system.

My quest for the perfect fast-road suspension setup

Alex is fantastic. I walkways value his opinion and most of the time, take it on board. (When I dont, its more because I'm fussy and its normally aesthetics!) Are you local to Harlow? I see the retail park you've taken a picture of there and of course Alex in dunmow, Tyre Smart in Witham.

    My BG182 Clio Revamp

Very nice write up Darren. Having spoken to Alex, I knew a bit of the back story on it and its nice to know that all this work has been done by the original owner. Just goes to show that there is something that attaches us to these little cars. I cant take too much credit as I didnt do nowhere...

    Options on the sun strip

My only concern is its not a sport as such, but as mentioned, if you like that thats all that matters. Its always something that can be removed if you change your mind.
