I don't remove the whole bracket. It's much easier on the car imo.
Undo the big 18mm nut on the top and give the stud a t**t with a hammer. It'll drop through. 2x 10mm bolts nuts and bolts off and the mount comes out.
All the Mk2 springs will fit iirc.
Only thing that differs is how much it lowers by, obviously a 1*2 set of springs will be suited to heavier engine etc.
Unless you mean the stub axle's base plate? But you'd need to cut the axle part off and then find another way of mounting it..
IMO, just spend the money and get spacers if that's what you're after.
The spacers behind the rear disc are not 20mm thick. They're 3-4mm thick at best.
Plus, all they do it keep the bearing firm and space the gap between the stub axle and the bearing. You can't fit more than one.
Is the filter easily visible on Megane RS' or do you spin them on and do them up blind?
Either way, if that is a mistake in fitting, it's a big error..
