Hit from behind

Minding my own business this morning in traffic and I got hit from behind by a school run people carrier.

I have a Clio Mk2 172 Cup and the rear bumper has been bent/pushed under the rear quarter pannel.

Is this just a case of new clips and pull out or is it a new bumper?

The exhaust has a rattle now so I guess the bumper will need to come off anyway to make sure all is ok with the bracket and exhaust.

Open the boot and lift up the boot carpet. If it's had a whack, the floor will most likely be bent.

If so, prepare to be getting a new car.

Check the boot floor, if it's creased then your fucked. Are you going through insurance or did you get details from school run car*

It's the same with any car tbh, crease the bootfloor and it's usually a crap-tonne to repair it, hence write off!

I got shafted up the rear when parked and my rear boot floor was a mess.

Well it's looks ok in the boot with no obvious signs of damage.

Need to get under the car as well and see if it's all ok.

Somone is going to have a look on Friday and maybe get a heat gun on it and see if we can get it straight and back in line.
