lol - I was meant to go to the Downs last weekend but we had slight lorry issues!! When he was younger and I didnt have him on loan Will ran away from cows, so I guess I have that to look forward to when we go there!!
Selling our Saphire Black Corsa which needs a bit of paintwork TLC. Looks alright out of the sun bar a few scratches. But when the sun catches it you can see swirl marks and smear marks from previous polish attempts.
Any recomendations to fix this is a fairly tight budget as proper poor right...
I was not there for the results, will be back at work Monday too see what got picked. I just hope the judging panel did a good job! We had some right crap entered along with some stunning shots!!
And that Kingfisher is immense!
My other thought is that the 18-200 is very much a consumer lens, and a 40/50d is stepping in to the semi-pro region, so it would be a shame to be putting inferior glass on the end of your body.
I think everyone needs to have a small zoom in there lens arrangement for its light weight...
Its much like the 18-200VR from Nikon I had on my D40. Was nice to have the convenience of all the zoom in 1 package but depends on your needs and if you mind changing lenses. I went back to a 2 lens set up which allowed me to go lighter when needs be as the 18-200 was a heavy beast! not sure...
I have sold horse prints regularly at shows, but to do it full time I think would be tough. Could you start out doing it in your own time to get yourself a decent rep and see how th business grows?
If they made a smaller version of the iphone about the size on a LG Arena I reckon it would sell even better. A lot of people are put off by the brick sized 1990's proportions.
How does a particular picture appear on google images?
One of my pics from flickr is on there when you search fro a D60 with 50mm f1.4g lens... its the first pic that comes up too?

Its recommended that VR is turned OFF when using a tripod. I have been shooting at 200mm over the weekend with no vibration reduction and the shots have been spot on. It all depends on what shutter speeds you are using and how steady you are!
