Having not driven either it's interesting to know this, The cloth seats, no xenons or and not putting you off at all? I'm pretty much spending all my time looking for one at the moment doesnt seem to be many around that have been looked after properly. :(

Thanks Chi, so you're saying just look for one that's been looked after with recent cam belt changes etc... regardless of the miles it has done? I am lucky enough though to have a friend who owns a garage he is willing to do any cam belt changes for a heavily discounted rate, even on a 172 with AC

Yes it really did!, what a noise too full stainless system with de-cat and an induction kit I miss it so much it was my baby but I was silly and got too many points so had to get something more sensible. Now I'm nearly 30 with a clean licence I can buy a 172 and insure it for next to nothing!
