I paid around £650 for a set of Trendlines around 3 years ago, maybe even longer, then another £250 for Jon Foz low frames, so going on for a grand. Whilst they'll hold their money, look nicer, will probably make the car more desirable when I sell etc, if I was to do it again, I'd go for some...
What I would add to this thread is, if people are looking for something more supportive and more 'bucket like' than the normal 172/182 seats, don't bother with Trendlines from a Trophy/Megane etc.
Got some in mine and whilst they're lovely and sit much lower on the Jon Foz low frames, they're...
Yeh I got that too in the end.
The only thing that has bugged me with it so far is, when doing a bit of the carpet in the house, the little extractor seems to have so much more suction that the big one but trying to do a large area with the little one is a bit tedious!
Without cracking the bleed nipples? So just activate the abs with the rs tuner?
Already said to @Louis that when bleeding I'm gonna just use a vizibleed to be mega careful and not smash the pedal right to the bottom!
Right, master cylinder arrived today (thanks again @Archtronics!)
I know how to remove and what not, but when refitting, is it just a case of refilling reservoir with fluid and bleeding as normal?
I've got an RS Tuner to bleed the ABS if needed.
Yeh mate, that's the plan.
Hopefully if the guy above's is the right one and works. If not, I'll take one apart and get the seals replaced. Pretty sure that's my issue now after messing about with it the other night.

This is only one that comes up.
What's the different between the Bosch/ATE units then? Purely just the manufacturer, everything else the same?
Ta mate
Yes please, that'd be great. Is it an ATE one? Any chance you can send me a photo just to confirm its 100% the right one? If it is, just let me know how much you want.
Typical.
You don't know where I can get all the seals for a master cylinder do you? I'm gonna take a punt off a used one on ebay but want some seals incase it's knackered.
Hi all
Anyone know of where to get a seal kit for the master cylinder? I've checked the Big Red website and it's only showing a kit for the bosch unit, mines an ATE.
Thanks
Not modding a car to keep it original so it's more desirable is like not banging your wife to keep her tight for the next person if you fall out.
If you want to do it, do it.
I personally think a little bit more power, without going mad, would be a good thing.
How very dare you. I was an integral part to the mr2 build! 😂
Ley me know when and I'll bring the volvo round for you to do as well, it hasn't been washed since before last year's CSF!
