It's fucked.
Well, it kind of is. Long story short, I can't get air out the brakes.
No leaks anywhere, bled many litres of fluid through, changed the master cylinder, bled even more fluid through, used the RS Tuner to bleed the abs and still no good. It seems to get to a point where it brakes...
Don't think you can get it from anywhere no but Prima Amigo with Vics Red Concours wax over the top looked mega on my old Black A3. If you can get some of that wax, I'd definitely recommend it!
Yeh, not the best of times to be trying to sort it is it? Just eager to get it fixed now.
Tbf, I'm happy to just drop it somewhere and someone have it for as long as needed really, doesn't need prioritising so they could look at it in-between jobs, at least it'd get it off my drive for a bit haha.
Hi all,
So, I've finally admitted defeat on the brake issue and I'm going to get it transported somewhere for them to fix the bloody thing.
Any recommendations? Anywhere in Yorkshire would be ideal but don't mind going further afield.
I've emailed RickyRPM seeing if he could get it sorted...
Were you really missing seeing my Clio and Volvo that much every week that you decided to move closer to give you a better chance of seeing one of them? 🤣
Mentioned it in another thread, had my C110 for about 7 or 8 years and it's still absolutely fine. I lob it about, never drain it in the winter etc and it lives in the garage, never been a problem 🤷♂️
That ale shop is expensive, especially compared to the Aldi stuff haha. Boundary House is quite nice though, was nicer before the changed the menu, now it's a bit poncy.
I got this from Doghouse a few weeks ago. Ill be honest, it looks like piss and tasted flat pretty much as soon as it was...
OP asks question, people suggest things, OP throws toys out of pram because they're not agreeing with OP and not what OP wants to hear. Haven't we had a thread like this before from OP.....
I got a Nilfisk C110 or something probably 8 or 9 years ago now and I can't fault it, it's still as good as it was when I bought it and I've not looked after it particularly well!
How you getting on with this @bill ?
This lockdown has got me looking at a replacement daily and it's currently a toss up between a 325/330d and 525/530d. It was only the other day that the majority of them don't have paddles for the gearbox. How is it with it in auto for day to day stuff?
I don't know much about them but our pet dryer was about £30 second hand. Woman had used it on her dog and was petrified of it so sold it on. You can get them new for less than £50.
Its 2800w which I think is same as the one you've mentioned. I don't see what that one does that a pet dryer...
As you say in the video, much easier doing it with the driveshaft off the car. I've done a stretchy boot twice whilst on the car and it's a pain to do, especially with the grease going everywhere!
Also looking for something like this.
I've still got a tiny bit of Werkstat Acrylic Glos that I'm using sparingly. Still gutted they don't make it anymore as it's brilliant stuff.
Same.
I got fed up with having to mess about with the foam lance even for little, quick washes. Now I've a big pump sprayer mixed up with it and use that, makes it so much easier and, dare I say, think it works better that way. It's almost like a citrus pre wash.
Hi all
Changed the master cylinder last week kn my 182, got a f**k load of air in the system so going go use my RS Tuner to try get it out the abs.
Just want to check the procedure before doing.
On a guide I've got, if says open bleed screw on whichever corner is being done, activate that...
Mentioned it in this thread before but a Di vessel is probably the best thing I've bought for car cleaning. Can literally wash a black car in direct sun and leave it to dry without any water spots.
Even if you're using it weekly, the resin will last ages. Just make sure you get a TDS meter so...
