    Hair dryer thingy

Ours is a 2800w, similar to the ones linked but not the same. Think ours is a middle of the range one but we got it second hand from someone who used it once then got rid as their dog was petrified of it. Even on the low setting its easy powerful enough. I genuinely don't know why anyone would...

    Hair dryer thingy

One we've got for the dog has a mega long hose, no wheels though but if OPs bothered about that then it's easily solved with some cheap feet and casters.

    Cleaning Equipment

If you wonna go mega mega basic. Get a wheel cleaner. Get a pre wash. Wash with 2 buckets and a wash mitt. Get something like Carbon Collective Hybrid to seal (look into it, its probably the easiest way to protect a car) Get a drying towel. Get some tyre shine. Job jobbed.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

Just been reading up a bit more and it seems people get good results from Auto Foam in a pressure sprayer rather than a foam lance. I'll try that first I think as I've got a little 2l pressure sprayer in the garage.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

All I'm wanting is something that will take quite a bit of dirt off before I touch it with the wash mitt, 2 bucket method etc etc. Was looking at try the ValetPro Citrus Pre Wash.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

Anybody use a pre wash over snowfoam? I'm getting more and more fed up with snow foaming a car before cleaning. I'm using BH Autofoam and I've found it doesn't actually clean that well on a non protected car, it's difficult to rinse off and leaves marks if you just want to quickly snow foam...

    Gearbox oil idiotic move

You need to chuck some veg oil in to thin it down, run it for a week or so then drain it again. Then it's safe to put the gearbox oil in. HTH.

    Di Vessel

Any got one or use one? Not properly tested with a TDS meter but I live in an area with pretty hard water. We get water spots/marks on everything. I don't mind cleaning cars but I hate drying them as, no matter how hard I try with my 2 auto finesse aqua deluxe towels, I always seem to end up...

    Clio's & Coffee @ EFI Parts

She usually goes to this kind of stuff with her Sister or Mum, I never go to stuff like that because it's not my kind of thing. She says it's because I'm boring so I only agreed to go ages ago to shut her up! Not sure that will wash now somehow ?

It's my other half's birthday that day and I did say that we'd go to the North Leeds food festival so it's taking a bit of convincing at the moment to let me go here instead haha.

    What vice do you have?

I rubbed mine down to the original paint and then painted it with black hammerite. Wish I'd have just left it original, looks worse now than before haha.

Come in Volvo me, not arsed. I've repainted the front wings with hammerite and a crusty brush I found in the garage so it's pretty much show ready now.

Think it's been nearly a year. Only need to replace the bleed nipples and bleed the brakes before I can take it for its MOT. Got a week off work the week after next so that's Clio time.

You know me Paul, always punctual ?. I've always wanted to go to a Malton meet. Think I may use that as a target for getting the Bean on the road again.
