Yeh, AP's aren't too bad. Much more common in the VAG world and probably known as a very decent coilover for the money.
In answer to your first question, only option really is shorter springs. If you want to be really pikey, cut a coil off the springs you've got now 😂

When I get round to it, I'm going to remove the arch liner so I can properly check the master cylinder to make sure the seals aren't buggered. That'll probably be in another year or so.....

The spunk is now fully gone. Got fed up and bored with trying to fix it a few weeks ago so cleaned the engine bay a little bit. Might even spray the inlet and fuel rail guard when I get the fucker working again!
