Don't know if the true size of this new monitor comes across on an image.
We are getting there though, chased Fanatec again so will hopefully get at least a decent discount so I can upgrade to the V2 or V3 pedals, shifter and handbrake.
Once I've done that I can finally tidy all the cables...
Thanks for this, got the CSP and Weather sorted last night looks superb. Also did a few other bits following a video on the x4fab page.
Next step is getting some cars and tracks downloaded.
Then the game changer was hooking the quest 3 up to it. VR was outstanding, just found myself doing lap...
Going to have a think, I like the idea of the Nintendo but the way he goes through games on Games pass then I don't want to be buying one a week to keep him interested and then having to resale.
Game Pass is perfect but I think Steam Deck would be overkill for him.
What would be the best options for handhelds that would have access to xbox game pass? Is that even possible?
Alternatively, for a 4 year old is the Nintendo Online any good? Assume that is Nintendo's equivalent to Game Pass?
Reason is I just want a free library of games he can play instead of...
OK, finally got this working, needed to disable some steam controller setting.
So whats next, whats the best visual mods? and where is the best place for tracks and cars?
All black with white LED fans is the future. apart from I've got a tiny little strip of lights on my MB that I can't figure out how to turn off. they are on even when it is powered off.
Not worries about a mic, want wireless though.
If I was to get just a decent music set of headphones would they have the the spatial or surround sound like the gaming headsets bang on about?
Only just seen this.
Commited and ordered through works benefit scheme, guess I just need to wait for stock to come back in. Will be used on the Sim rig instead of triples...
Top work thank you. Xbox was bought back in Jan 23 so warranty was out on it, added the controller as a device anyway and apparently in warranty until end of December.
Going to ship it off to them.
Looks like a PCB board is £24.99 from a quick google.
I'm going to ignore all the sensible advice I got from the internet and buy the Elite as I want to play with the magnetic connectors :)
I've got an issue with my Xbox Controller and can't seem to find the answer anywhere.
It only powers on if I keep my finger held on the power X button, let go it turns off. I've tried both my rechargeable batteries plus a set of AAs and still no luck.
Anyone any ideas on what it might be?
Yeah I was, but when I asked they were still just Fanatec and pretty much bankrupt. They have since been taken over by Corsair so I'm chancing my luck that they are on some PR mission at the moment to keep people happy.
Well well well, less than 30 minutes.
Going to see what they come back with. I didn't want to show my hand early. Put it in their court first, if they come back with piss off again then I'll just front up and say I want your load cell pedal can you sort me a discount and I'll order now.
Anyone bought anything from Fanatec in the last few weeks? Since they've been taken over by corsair? thinking it is about time to get the Load cell pedal and shifter.
What could go wrong.
It ishis laugh that does me, but clearly gets that from his dad. It is the cameraman who grates on me. He doesn't add anything apart from holding the camera.
I think Matt Armstrong has nailed it, can't put a foot wrong at the moment and is just a likeable down to earth guy. I did laugh at Mr Mansory just changing his wheels, not sure if it was setup or not.
Tried content manager tonight, looks 10x better but I can only compare that to sat in the cockpit again as I couldn't get the wheel or pedals to work.
I'll try a full uninstall reinstall I think.
Finally bit the bullet today.
After watching a few reviews and not being any sort of videophile I thought the best option was budget 65" OLED.
Went for the Panasonic TX-65MZ800B, at £999 significantly cheaper than the LG B3 I was looking at.
Then went for the Polk react soundbar that will...
