    Buying advice

120,000 km is nothing for a car nowadays. As long as it’s been serviced regularly. I don’t blame you for getting rid of the 420d. A nice car to drive up and down a motorway, but dull beyond dull for everything else.

Strap on. Not bought anything from them for a while, so disappointed to see “MADE IN CHINA” over all the packaging.

    Bought me a new light. Was stupidly expensive (just under £300!) but look how f**king good it is! My interiors will be even better now! 💪🏽 Before; After;

    crash locked SRS issue

I’ve had to do one before because the previous owner spilt a can of coke in the cup holder and it fried the airbag module. 😂

Another car gone, and one bought. X5 3.0d.

My bad. I thought you meant towing over 3.5t with no tacho.

I’ve used the guys on eBay numerous times. Can’t fault them. (airbag ECU reset, UCH repairs, ECU repairs, key card repairs) you’ll be fine.

    LED Light bar

Light bars are epic. Would you be able to fit a 20 inch one down below the number plate, in front of the grill? Would be pretty subtle then.

    Replacing Foam on RS200 Seat?

I did it on my van mate, so the part number wouldn’t be much use to you. 😂

    Replacing Foam on RS200 Seat?

I had my van seat done by a local trimming company. I bought the seat foam for £68 on eBay (came in a Renault box though?) and took it to a local place called Motortrim. He sent me for breakfast and when I went back an hour later it was done. Charged me £40.

Best products / way to clean black leather seats

Probably mate. They have different names for some of the trade stuff. f**k knows why.

Best products / way to clean black leather seats

On every car I buy I properly clean the seats with a magic sponge and APC and then dry fully with a clean microfibre. It’s a harsh process but it only needs doing once and then all they need is a little wipe every time you clean the interior. You wouldn’t want to do it weekly that’s for sure as...

    Convertible plastic rear screen product

I had really good results with regular car polish. Auto glum srp etc. cleans it up lovely and offers a pretty decent level of water repelling.

    K-Tec poor customer service attitude

I’m in your camp here. A sports cat that doesn’t do any actual catting is just a pipe, no?? If they’re selling sports cats that can’t pass emissions tests then it needs to state that clearly on the advert. ‘Not for road use’ seems a little bit weak as a description imo.

Very shallow (deep?) offset though so you may want to look in to some spacers too.

Non sport 15" 5 spoke wheels

I haven’t personally but I’ve seen plenty of them on track cars. there’s a couple on the 182 racing series Facebook page with them too.

Hi guys. I have just purchased a 2004 182 and it has an electrical problem.

Glad it’s sorted mate. Get some pics up in the media section if it’s a bit of a project! The fuel remaining thing - I have a similar issue on mine but just put it down to not being driven much and it never has a chance to calculate the MPG to work out how much is left. (It’s a track car with a...

Hi guys. I have just purchased a 2004 182 and it has an electrical problem.

Welcome to the Club Nev! my gut reaction is the UCH under the glovebox. Usually if you unplug it and plug it back in (vigorously, 5 or 6 times) and the fault goes away for a few days, it’s a sure sign that it’s starting to fail. It used to be an expensive fix but plenty of people offer a repair...

Proud new owner of a 197 RS looking for any advice

When doing the brakes, make sure you fit some braided lines and some decent fluid too. The last 197 I took on track had the same setup as you’re planning and the brakes were phenomenal. a proper geometry setup will transform the car also. welcome to the club. 👍

    Its a bit cold!

Same. My thermostat only goes down to 13 before it’s off completely - which I don’t want to do in case anything freezes. But the bloody thing was going all night. Probably cost me a f**king weeks wages.

I spent 2 hours just doing the engine bay today on this 20 year old 1.9 diesel Kangoo. It was absolutely howling but like a prick I didn’t take any before pics. 🤦‍♂️ looking spanking now though!
