Just out on the springs mate, i lowered mine 60 and never had any scrub or nothing. Ride was hard but it was still ok, but you gotta expect that wen it comes to lowering.
Yeah i no, TBH i normally rag it to 100 and thats it, 120 if im alone on a good road now and again. Only ever hit 130 twice in my old 182 and v maxed once. Its just to risky nower days. And your right to be fair, you just cant use that speed on the road. Still would be nice to have it;)
^^^Wow! Dont think ford have had a good hatchback since the rs turbo, brilliant car. Think the new ST is dissapointing which is a shame. Could of been such a better car.
Ha ha! Yeah i thought the same thing, i find all RS cars to be s**t after 125 anyway. Wouldnt mind driving one with a new gearbox to see what its like. The standard 197 gearbox isnt rubbish anyway, dont no why people **** it off? Much better than the one on the 182 i found. It never drops out of...
My mate had an 52 plate saxo, i had a 03 plate 1.416v and to 110mph we were neck and neck, nothin in it.
The 1.6 is def the quickest, its not a heavy car by any means.:)
The clio will be the strongest through out the speedo, more grunt when you get to higher speeds compared to the others. Ive driven all 3 for me personally:
1=clio
2=vtr
3=ztec
But its up to you, best thing to do really is drive them yourself. These are just our opinions and its your car, so...
I did normally fill up on optimax, but its gettin a bit costly now. So have been filling up on regular BP and it felt really strong through out. Put a tank of optimax in yeasterday and slightly dissapointed.
Vtr, is ok but a bit horrible inside and nippy, but s**t after 80, and safety wise they are b****cks! The fiesta Zetecs aint that quick, my old 1.416v was just as quick.
The 1.616v clios are def gonna be the quickest, and with the mods you already have it makes sense. My mate has a 1.6 and they...
Had my R27 a month now, but filled up on standard BP and it drove really good, Really tourqy and punchy.
Filled up with optimax yesterday and for some reason it doesnt feel as good?
Which i find wierd coz in my 182 it made a difference.
Could it be coz its a fresh engine on 2000 miles?
Or just...
Powerflow are the best ones mate, you get ownership guarentee with it so as long as you bought the exhaust on the car you can always get it fixed under warreny, 210 is a good price. :)
Use Autoglym Bug and tar remover, spray on, leave for 30 secs and just wash off like normal. Its seriously that easy!! never had a problem with that product!! Get it dude!:D
I thought i was a hardcore detailer! But my crummy, wash, rinse, wash, rinse again, dry, (now and again) Megs paint cleaner, SRP, EGP seems so feeble! Oh... and all done by hand coz i dont have a PC and would be to scared to fcuk up my liquid yellow!
^^ Yeah but its the tourqe that will make the big difference, it still pushes it up to about 200bhp( in theory), and goin on paper figures 180lbs. To me that def seems worth it if the chip does what it says on the tin, just need to find out more. The car is a power machine anyway, so would love...
