Haha, love it!
The one i liked most the "full BMW service history" on an '05 M3 from a BMW dealer that were bought out/changed their trading name in 2004 😂
Forged service history courtesy of an utter numpty lol.
Grey can be ok, but only if combined with the black...
I thought that was an utter bargain: http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showthread.php?t=142775&highlight=2006
Not sure how you couldnt agree on the price lol, for £8.5k id just buy it.

Id say in manual mode's highest setting (S5), it should feel like a normal manual gear change speed, perhaps a little quicker. S6 with DSC off is pretty much instant. Yes, lifting off (like with a normal manual) is the best way to do it. If suggest whatever you try, get to 50mph, put it in...
The 0-60/0-100 stats are nigh on the same, in gear the m135i feels quicker. Up to 4k the m135i feels quicker (turbod torque), but the way the m3 pulls from 5k-8k is far better. The m135i revs to 7k, but there doesnt seem to be any point going up there.
Keep an m3 above 5k and imho its quicker...
Mine was £11.5k, but is a full spec individual with <90k mikes, full bmwsh and subframe done recently. Tbh, without the csl settings, the smg can be a bit sh1t in certain scenarios, but for the sake of £20, you'd be mad not too update it!!
I drove mine from Weybridge to Lands End last night to get home for christmas. Its genuinely the best car ive ever owned/driven, with the csl settings, sport mode on, S6 on the box, its simply ballistic. The engine in the upper reaches of the rev range is just sublime. Oh and noise!!!
Then back...
The chap that was trying to sell me an an S3 saloon recently tried telling me my beloved e46 was a outdated dinosaur.
I wonder if he actually saw my eyes glaze over.
The event you attended looks like it was full of typical Porsche owners, you can always tell them a mile off at trackdays.
They...
I think it turns the DSC button into a 2 stage one like the 330i's.
Need to get it done on mine at some point, i have the dash light in the instrument pod.
What was the ATW figure for the bhp?
Dont think i've ever known 1320 to give a fly figure before, their dyno does everything at the wheels, ie:
Very surprised at your torque also, being that its higher than mine with cam/injectors/airbox/intercooler etc!!
Nope, i like that the black inner/chrome outer matches the black inner/chrome outer of the BMW badge on the bonnet.
I genuinely detest black grilles on BMW's. I've never modified a BMW away from OEM though, so im probably different to most owners.

I dunno, after getting the CSL settings put on the SMG its pretty darn good!!
The manual is great when you're "on it" but in day to day use it was like driving a rocket powered truck lol.
Last time i checked, the Megane had a 4 pot turbo, not a straight 6 with ITB's. Therefore M3>Renault
The SMG pump would have been £2k. How much extra over the M3 was the Meg?
From my understanding, the basic gearbox/clutch are the same as the manual cars, but the clutch is hydraulically activated so there are few parts over & above the normal car. Naturally, these parts break occasionally, the most expensive being the SMG pump, which is circa £2k fitted...
Should have got it upgraded, you'l keep it i reckon, what else can you get for £10k thats as good an allrounder?
Cheers, my thoughts are similar, i went out to buy an e92 V8 and bought this instead!!
SMG as standard is ok when you're on it, in mode 5/6, but when dawdling about, its rather...
SMG ecu is in the engine bay somewhere id imagine, probs next to the engine one near the fuses? I got the activation code for the Binary Tool today so will have a go at coding the CSL SMG Shift / Rev matching + Inertia fix, CSL Warm up light changes, 155MPH Limiter removal & Dyno limit removal...
Last weekend i managed to fit my Intravee setup. As i wanted as OEM a look as possible, i ended up buying the storage tray used if the car doesnt come with a CD Changer - the Intravee/iPod then sits in the tray with easy access via the usual opening flap, as below:
The Alpine interface is...
That's just the sh1tty standard fueling unfortunately, the normal JCW exhaust pops & gurgles as well!
I miss the sound tbh, as mines mapped properly, i get no sexy noises from my Miltek 😞
