Im sorry, why are we comparing Tesla's, i.e. the future of driving, and/or GTR's, one of the quickest things on 4 wheels, with a cheapo/fun small hot hatch that lost its market share completely because its Ford rival offered a manual gearbox? Hell, even the Juke Nismo thing outsells the Clio...
A big slab of chrome/piano black plastic & some orange colouring does not make a good interior.
Neither do the chairs from a 2004 Megane 225.
In addition, the climate control/nav panels' lack of symmetry upsets my OCD.
Is the steering wheel offset that much in real life?
Agree, its awful lol, along with the wheels that look like GP1 Replicas!!
Thy can be made to look a little better however ...
OP's:
Chap on MT, lowered approx 3 feet, plus lots of colour coding:
At £3250 its a bargain tbh, especially with the spec.
If you really want to get rid of it, unbolt any mods you can, put standard wheels on it & just sell it as "standard".
My grey one went like that, so my mates wife is currently driving around with R56 brakes, JCW exhaust, Facelift xenons...
Ha ha, i was just trolling you for saying "it was actually a sound choice financially" :tonguewink:
I know what you did, as i did it with my M3, you saw something nice & bought it, without a care in the world lol !!
Might be an idea at some point, although in the Spring would probably be better, think it needs machine polishing before proper photos are taken, is a little swirly, & that wont be done for a loooooong time lol ... Sarah's TT needs doing as well tbh, one too many Romanianwashes. Bike? You...
Thanks!! Ever since i was 17 ive wanted a blue(ish) car with a white leather interior, finally managed it with this.
A darn site better than the Calibra 2.0 8v that first made me love the combo as well 😂
Strangely, i much prefer this one to the last M3!!! As daft as it sounds...
So today was the end of the road for the M135i - BCA have collected it as an early termination, so its off to auction at Blackbushe.
Its been a good car, but not a great one imho, plagued with issues & dealer incompetence at the beginning (which i had tried to avoid by getting brand new!!!), it...
So then, this wont be a massively long thread full of modifications & faffing, it'll just be a place to put a load of (cr4p) pictures now & again.
I went out looking for an e92 M3 to replace the M135i and ended up buying this instead, half the price spent meant more money for other things.
Its...
Excellent choice!!! I would have had to go for Nav personally, but you can always retrofit it for £800 or so.
Needs silver wheels & standard grills imho, you've saved it from Birmingham, dont send it straight back there lol.
They should. And the standard finish is much better i think, gloss black doesnt work with the rest of the greys on the car imho.

Other than that, it looks ace!!
For the sake of £50, id just buy the whole bank, save trying to remove one of the buttons (i'm not sure they can be split?). Hopefully its just teh switch & not the regulator as that can be a bit of a pig to swop over, i had to do a couple on the e46 touring.
As the aux belts are cracked, & there is no history of the alternator being changed, id suspect that. Have you plugged it into INPA? What are the symptoms anyway? Also, when you are 5 mins away from setting fire to it/trading it in for a Prius, pm me a "best cash price" lol
Congrats/commiserations on the engagement!!
Word of advice though, dont buy from the high street, i.e. Ernest Jones etc, you will pay considerably more/get a far worse quality diamond than if you take the trip down to Hatton Garden in London and/or buy something online from Bluenile etc. There...
They look sh1t in photos. But brilliant in real life.
I used to hate them, until i saw one in real life, fell in love, drove it, & bought it there & then. Regret selling it most days.
Turinis look ok.
In the grand scheme of things, £9k for a minty fresh s/c version of probably one of the best hot hatches ever made, is essentially f*ck all.
Just because most 1*2's are now about the same price as a set of tyres for my M135i, doesnt mean that some people out there dont want to simply buy the...
