Well, after much uming and aring, I decided to lower the Clio by 40mm. I think its low enough for what I want, and I am very pleased with the results.
So anyways, took it over to my mate this morning and spent 2 hours fitting them. Must say even on 40's the ride feels alot firmer. Just waiting...
Thought id let you peeps know. I went to the meadows with 5 other cars last night after Guildford Cruise, we sat in a line, just talking etc whilst we decided what to do. The security guard came over and told us to get moving as they don't allow 3+ cars in groups sat with each other. :S
Well it is kinda, but not, theres not street lights though actually thinking about it :dapprove:
How about the circular car park in the middle of the roundabout just near the Village Hotel & PetatHome? Not the UG, but the one where you have to go through the recreation centre car park. :S
Thought id pop some of my Drag Supra - This beats most things online tbh, including tuned Datsun's and Bugatti's
Before the paintwork:
After a few light bit of paintwork:
I think id have a rainbow bus moment if I touched that interior, can't stand the feel of its fuzzy evilness.
Like the exterior though, the under-bonnet is different.
Hey peeps,
Just wanting anyone with a 1.2 16v to post pics if you've had your car lowered by either 60mm or 40mm, please could you state. Im just making up my mind, but Im going to be using standard shocks, so Im not sure. Thanks, :)
Ok, thanks guys. Also I tend to carry people in my car alot, like mate from clubs etc, any problems when it comes to things like that? Im just worried im gunna f**k my shocks if I go 60mm.
Hey peeps,
Quick question. Im looking at getting my 1.2 16v Clio lowered very soon. Im on a tighter budget so I only really want to get springs as I can't afford shocks. Ive seen this online (Link below) and its says 40mm/60mm but I can use with standard shocks. Now Im aware that im safe to go...
Yea, I was tempted to proper slam it, as I know it would look sick, but as stated, my Dad would get a bit iffy with that and he's less likely to notice 40mm. If he does, i'll say ive got a dead American in the back or something :rasp:
Yea, im pleased with them. Im looking at just a 40mm drop because I cant be arsed to pay out for 60mm springs + shocks. Also my Dad's a rozzer and he would be a bit funny it I slammed it, lol. Ive seen 40mm drops before, I just want it so its sits a little nicer ;)
