Not the best photo but I’ve got nothing else to hand. That’s the EGR valve there. The full egr system and cooler is down the back next the the turbo. There are 3 different types for this engine I’m sure but all very similarly placed and shaped.
Figure 1 is the egr valve.
From memory yes yours looks slightly different from mine. Cross over pipe on mine is metal. But I’m imagining things aren’t too dissimilar. Snap ring should just pop out with a screw driver. There’s like a little hump on it you should be able to flick under and it will release.
Mine is...
I should have also said it’s just OEM level stuff I have in stock. One of the renault specialists got all the fancy stuff.
I do have a couple sets of oem brembo pads for the mk2 172/182 that I can do for £25 each posted if anyone’s interested.
Part number is P68027 can deal with it here or on...
Hello Gents,
Ive recently been listing RTRs old stock on my Ebay page.
Loads of Brembo and Ferodo Discs and pads, Most makes and models covered. If their is anything you're after and I don't seem to have listed yet shoot me a message as I've still only listed about 50% of the stuff I have...
Get it plugged into diagnostics.
I had a similar problem with mine was corrosion in the big white plug in the engine bay. Under the fuse box lid down at the bottom.
Unplug it if it’s green and fuzzy you will be able to clean up the pins with sand paper or similar. If it is that you might end up...
Thanks man! I got it £168 is more than reasonable I’d even go as far to say it’s too cheap 😂 not looking forward to the 10% codes going I’ve got a habit of going down the slippery slope with tools.

Gents, I’ve finally succumbed to the pressure of moving over to team red.
Starting off with something to buzz wheels off and the...
The van did the trip too and from CSF22 effortlessly and managed 50mpg, we did cruise up and down in the heat at 60mph. Was honestly quite surprised at the lack of issues from both vehicles!
But now we are back in the land of the living the van decided last Monday it was going to get even more...
Subframe is close but different. Non sport is missing a mount I think for gearbox.
wishbones and suspension is all different between models.
rear beam is different. Including stub axels for disc brakes on sport and drums on most non sport.
most non sports have sunroof where sports do not...
That was another job that I ignored for as long as possible, had to change the alternator but went for as long as possible as there is just hardly any room in the bay to work. Also the reason I’ve put off doing the belts. I might pull the engine and replace the turbo and have the box all done at...
I’ve got a belt kit here with pulleys so at some point I will investigate. I ran the box quite low on oil when I first had it thinking it was a shifter cable then when I put Megane wheels on it it almost instantly started whining. It doesn’t whine stationary or when revved so I’m assuming it...
A bit over 168k I think, it runs fairly sweet once it’s going but needs a bit of sniff to start. I plugged it in today and says fuel pressure regulator and another code for glow plugs module.
gearbox is whining now though so not sure how long that’s going to last. And loads of oil around the...
I had a couple good laps trying my best to get away from the rx8, but tyres and brakes went off so quickly just ended up overdriving the car. Was surprised how well it went.
Best of luck finding one! Might have better luck finding a facelifted version. I think there is something like 200 of them left of this style on the road. I’m always seeing if I can find a cleaner one as mine is quite tatty up close. Mine has a load of miles and a worn out engine/turbo/gearbox 😂
Thanks, they are just so handy for throwing stuff in the back.
I’ve got a thread here: https://cliosport.net/threads/kangoo-sport-dci-85-daily-day-van.841247/
Mostly some modified suspension and wheels on mine and raided the Renault parts bin for interior parts.
Mine is a kangoo “sport” model...
Who was the lass that was taking pictures of the track time? Are her pictures going to be posted on here or does she have a link to them at a later date?
Massive thank you to all of the admin and anyone who had hands on putting this event on. We will be back. I didn’t personally get to speak to many people and felt a bit antisocial as a result. I’ve posted on here about my health not being tip top so things like this are always a stretch for me...
us Scots are hoping no one talks to us so we don’t have to slow down every second word. The southerners don’t understand that “fuckin” can be used in many other ways other than an insult..
Edited so not to offend anyone
Clio has been MOTd, fuelled, cleaned and tucked away, ready to hit the road on Friday.
Managed to get a set of used but good condition NS2r’s and fired them on some dynamique wheels for blyton at the weekend. I was going to run it on the rainsports but I was getting a bit worried about...
Just wondering if there is a latest entry time on the Friday? The weather is going to be hot hot and driving a clio with no blowers or aircon for 5ish hours is sounding terribly unappealing. Wondering if it’s worth my while waiting until later in the day when it’s cooler.
Mine could do with having the sliding door and 2 rear doors replaced as they have all been nudged at some point. Then with the rest of the van the way it is the only solution would be throw some more paint at it. Once I’ve sorted more mechanical niggles that we spoke about I might not be opposed...
Done a refresh in silver on the Laguna wheels and changed the tyres for some 205/50/17 the Megane wheels where just too heavy and too much contact patch. I’m suspecting that the extra size and grip might have been too much for the box and it’s now whining at me. Also with a little bit of...
