No sure if i have an issue with mine. started playing killzone and the fan got quite loud then quietened down but keeps doing it. I know there was an issue with this as well . Anyone else get this?
What i find a bit strange and i'm no expert but the car was running but overheating .. so the belt being missing would explain this as the water pump would not be doing its job. i can even understand that the pump may well be fucked seized and threw the aux belt off but if it was still running...
Bit of advice please good people of CS. i had a humming that all symptoms pointed to the front drivers side wheel bearing so i took it all apart and took the hub to a garage to get the new bearing pressed in. refitted it all now i still have a humming but not as loud and does it in straight...
Re did it this morning gave the grooves a re clean etc and found a different way to get the dust cover over the piston using air worked a treat ! both slid in much easier and i now feel 100% happy to put these on my car!

Phase1sr what method did you use to get your pistons back in. one of mine was tough going back in so have popped the pistons back out to clean the bores and redo
As with most things its all in the prep work . Must have spent hours doing the wire brushing and minutes doing the painting. As long as you take your time cant really go wrong and was quite a pleasant job really
