    Paul's German

I really don't get the obsession with spraying the grilles black? Just ruins it imho. But if you're happy :)

    Renault Twin Run

So they haven't quite lost the plot after the 200T then? Perhaps a little bit of RenaultSport DNA left somewhere ...

BIGASH/FF-Racing X85 Clio Cup Racer Project

Such a great turnaround on the car James!!! Some brilliant work and nice little touches. I just couldn't race anything other than a shed though lol, would cry too much if it got scratched ...

    Le Mans 2013

Brian at 1st Tickets will book as much as you like if you give him enough money lol - I booked for 12 people this year! Shotgun not having to pay out for 50 CS members, then attempt to get the cash out of them though. Bad enough with our lot  ;)

    Le Mans 2013

Yeah, think we realised that the 2nd year & kept it. That and we got a mega bargain on the tent, should have been about £300 lol!!!

    Le Mans 2013

Tent was £130. That's only £13 each lol. Was wet & smelly anyways. Like Mike after 5 days without a wash.

The Failsport Art Car. Le Mans Chariot.

Shame. Makes for a great photo lol.

Detailed the Boat (Warning - PCP'd, Slow, diesel bus content)

Looks awesome, some pics of the interior as well would be nice though!! Only thing id change is the wheels, I prefer the pre-facelift 19's, even though they are made of cheese.

    Eibachs or Mark Fish.....

Personally I would go for the Sportlines, purely as I found the MF ones too hard. Re: the Cooksport's, they may well work with normal 1*2 dampers, but has anyone tried them on a Trophy? Spring rate might be wrong for all we know.

    Scary ass corkscrewing feeling

Your front dampers are knackered - well known on CT that the 'corkscrewing' is an indication of this. If your issue is on right hand corners, the culprit will be the front left as when its loaded up in the corner it will have no damping properties.

Back in a Clio. Another Failsport purchase.

    Quoted for truth.

197 Cup with AST's (suspension treats)

Yup, same. Although id probably buy it, then try it on a track day to see what needed improving 1st!! Mine seemed fairly handy as it was. Think Danny sells various strut braces for them, ultra racing ones perhaps? Clio197.net is the best place to look tbh.

197 Cup with AST's (suspension treats)

What are you planning on doing with the Trophy as I could be interested in having it back ...

    My R32 on Pistonheads

Now back to standard, Haldex controller removed and up for sale properly. All sensible offers invited as we've found a house we like: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/volkswagen/golf-r32-r/high-spec-volkswagen-golf-mk5-r32-2006/1406754

    My New Steed: Trophy #321

EVO magazine 184 July RS Clio 200 T versus the rest

Having had both of them at the same time, id say that the Trophy handles better, but the 197 gives more grip.

    The Chris Harris thread

You never been to Llandow in the wet, its great fun drifting round Glue-pot with a dap of oppo. Cant imagine you can get too much lift-off oversteer with ESP on?
  23. Sir_Dave

    The Chris Harris thread

I would have to agree. You cant do this on track with ESP on.

Clio 4 RS VS Fiesta ST EcoBoost

I cant remember the last time I actively wanted to go out & buy a brand new car, but I think the fiesta has hit the 'fun' nail on the head. Its like the spiritual successor to this old thing, my 1.6si I had from 18-21 .... cost f*ck all to run and just gave you what you need from a car, smiles.

    UR Clio 200 Pre-Summer Detail/Refresh. Pics.

    PROPER nurburgring driving!!

Love the map on the steering wheel, just so he can check where he is lol. Watched about 8 hours of racing at the N24 on Sunday/Monday. Crazy race.

    172 Cup Track/Fast Road car.

More understeer. Essentially, the stiffer the rear is in relation to the front, the less understeer you will get. On a clio, soft front/hard rear is good, hence why Whitelines are so popular.
