Such a great turnaround on the car James!!! Some brilliant work and nice little touches.
I just couldn't race anything other than a shed though lol, would cry too much if it got scratched ...
Brian at 1st Tickets will book as much as you like if you give him enough money lol - I booked for 12 people this year!
Shotgun not having to pay out for 50 CS members, then attempt to get the cash out of them though.
Bad enough with our lot
;)
Looks awesome, some pics of the interior as well would be nice though!!
Only thing id change is the wheels, I prefer the pre-facelift 19's, even though they are made of cheese.
Personally I would go for the Sportlines, purely as I found the MF ones too hard.
Re: the Cooksport's, they may well work with normal 1*2 dampers, but has anyone tried them on a Trophy?
Spring rate might be wrong for all we know.
Your front dampers are knackered - well known on CT that the 'corkscrewing' is an indication of this. If your issue is on right hand corners, the culprit will be the front left as when its loaded up in the corner it will have no damping properties.
Yup, same. Although id probably buy it, then try it on a track day to see what needed improving 1st!! Mine seemed fairly handy as it was. Think Danny sells various strut braces for them, ultra racing ones perhaps? Clio197.net is the best place to look tbh.
Now back to standard, Haldex controller removed and up for sale properly.
All sensible offers invited as we've found a house we like: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/volkswagen/golf-r32-r/high-spec-volkswagen-golf-mk5-r32-2006/1406754
You never been to Llandow in the wet, its great fun drifting round Glue-pot with a dap of oppo.
Cant imagine you can get too much lift-off oversteer with ESP on?
I cant remember the last time I actively wanted to go out & buy a brand new car, but I think the fiesta has hit the 'fun' nail on the head. Its like the spiritual successor to this old thing, my 1.6si I had from 18-21 .... cost f*ck all to run and just gave you what you need from a car, smiles.
More understeer.
Essentially, the stiffer the rear is in relation to the front, the less understeer you will get. On a clio, soft front/hard rear is good, hence why Whitelines are so popular.
